Simply the best place on the best place on Beau Vallon beach. It has a private garden opening directly onto the beach. The proximity and frontal exposure to the sea means that there is a nice breeze blowing. There are good restaurants, two within 5 min walk, and food shops very close by. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. We had some on-again off-again difficulties due to illness, but the hosts helped us make the trip work out. 

The guest apartments are very high standard. Comfortable beds. air conditioning and ceiling fans. Each bedroom with a good shower. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a good range of dishes and utensils. The living area is comfortable, and there are full electronics. There is a very nice covered outdoor sitting area as well. Its the sort of place one could settle into for a long, relaxed stay.

Between the beach and the garden, there is the pedestrian walk that leads along the beach and to the center of the village. Very walkable.

The best at Beau Vallon.

I would highly recommend a stay here, the apartments are well thought out and presented very well. We were in a ground floor apartment facing the ocean with a perfectly manicured garden. Everything you could want is in the apartment and even better is the access from the garden onto the gorgeous Beau Vallon beach. This place is truly a slice of paradise.

Absolutely lovely place, very helpful and friendly reception and restaurant staff nothing too much trouble . We had an amazing stay and room was big and spacious and very clean . I would like to thank also Mme Soukaina for her hospitality and great insight and information of Agadir . We experienced so much at this beautiful place and was very happy with the service.

Friendly staff, warm atmosphere,  location can not be better... the owner is such a lovely person and the whole stay was in a home away from home. th3 beach is just around and grocery store,  restaurants are in walking distance,  highly recommended 

Home away from home 

Very nice place, peaceful and comfortable. 

We had a 2 bedroom apartment, ground floor, well equipped and with comfortable beds an towels. 

We were 2 adults and 2 kids.

Beach is in front of the property. 

There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

Sables Do'r is in a fantastic location, right on Beau Vallon Beach with lots of restaurants and places to go nearby. The sunbeds that come with the property are a great addition for the beach. 

We stayed for 5 nights in a luxury seafront apartment, and although the apartment had everything you could need, we were disappointed at its lack of upkeep. I appreciate that tropic weather, and humidity play a role but we found flaky ceilings, a mould covered drying rack, a broken shower head, and plenty of stained soft furnishings. These are also easily rectified with a bit of effort. 

Having mentioned it to our travel company, we were visited by Vicky the owner, who at first came across as rather rude, and abrupt, using the word 'princesss' when talking to my wife and said "if you don't like it, you can leave". My partner handled this well but with other people this could have easily descended into a full blown argument quite quickly. However, a day later Vicky did make an effort to improve the situation and swapped out a lot of the faulty and dirty products, and left us a gift hamper and ordered us breakfast. This was appreciated but could have been avoided really. 

I always try to leave fair reviews and we did enjoy the location of the apartment and its beachside location. Judging by the reviews, I suspect the newer apartments that Vicky rents out are a lot nicer and modern. It was just unfortunate that simple DIY/upkeep seemed to be missing from the apartment we were staying in. Given the price and confrontational nature of the owner, we left feeling rather disappointed.

Disappointing, in need of TLC

Location: 5 *. The house it's situated in the heart of the Beau Vallon beach. It's just across the beach, and a few meters away from the road. It's sooo quiet. We booked a double room apartment. It's got everything you need, it's big and airy. The appliances are new and fully functional. You can see that it has a touch of a good designer. It's close to everything: restaurants, shops. The beach in front it's reserved for this house as well as the small picnic garden. This location is just lovely. The owner is a really good company. She's friendly and gave us some tips on where to eat and what to do around here. 

5 star location 

Very comfortable, convenient apartments, which are located in the most convenient and beautiful point of Beau Valon. Very friendly, wonderful, responsive apartment owner. The beach is one of the best on Mahe.There are many cafes and restaurants where you can eat. There are also shops where you can buy groceries within walking distance.

We chose this accommodation after looking at reviews on TA & stayed for our 1st week in the Seychelles & again for 2 nights before we flew home to the Uk and we were not disappointed. Its location on Beau Vallon beach is perfect, close to the local restaurants and other eateries, with a beach to die for right outside the entrance gate, with sunbeds on the beach for guests. We chose a Mountain View apartment in the new annexe block behind the beachfront apartments and it was perfect for our needs.  All the kitchen facilities you needed if you wanted to self cater, a lovely big comfortable balcony to sit on, rain or shine and the most comfortable bed of our entire trip. The shower was also fabulous. Website photos of apartment are real and true. A special thank you to Sharanza who was so helpful in meeting all our needs for our stay and organising our transfers to and from the airport and port. Also thanks to Suresh who was so accommodating in helping us with our luggage, sunbeds and room entry,  especially when out of hours. Also, special mention to Richard our transfer driver and tour guide! We learned so much about the islands from you, it was a pleasure!  Vicky, your accommodation is a very welcoming and comfortable place to stay and we actually said, when we got back after our subsequent stays on La Digue and Praslin, that coming back to Sables d’Or was like “coming home”!  It was wonderful to meet you and learn more about the Seychellois and the islands, so much that we know we will be back again.

Best place to stay! Everything felt like home away from home, and we were taken care of in a wonderful way during our family special trip!
