I went there last night with a few friends and ate at the restaurant outside facing the beach. The menu ranges from anywhere from $3,500 to $7,000 or so but I ended up eating the local dishes because I wanted to eat some Senegalese food. I ordered one dish and then ate it all up and ordered another dish. The Senegalese food was really tasty in the damage for the food portion only was $7,000. They have a wide range of drinks but I ended up drinking a couple of beers and they were only $1,500 each. The service was good and they had a DJ playing good music on a Friday evening. I would certainly go back again to go eat some food and listen to the music.

Ate at restaurant - good, good bar

The rooms are very basic, and although need a little work, are adequate for a short term affordable stay, especially if you are en route from or to the airport which is very close by.  The dining area has super views out onto the rocks and sea, but be warned that moving to the small beach tables out front provide you with a very unpleasant view of garbage that completely litter the sea front rocks - a common problem across Dakar.  The food is very good, but many things on the menu were not available, and no meal I had took less than 2 hours to arrive. They also have a nice bar and a lounge which offers live music occasionally - although from 1 am in the morning.  The Wifi in reception was good, but did not extend to the rooms.

Affordable

Very good location, being so close to the airport.  I had a bit of an issue getting picked up from the airport... the driver arranged by the hotel didn't wait and returned to the hotel, but once I'd managed to speak to them he came back!
Rooms are basic but they are charging for the location!
As with anywhere in Senegal you need to speak some French to get by, none of the staff when I stayed spoke English. Embrace it!

A good place to stay near the airport

If you are a teen, or if you are an alcoholic or love partying and love the beach, this is most definitely the place for you. The place is affordable as compared to other safe places. The bed is not comfortable, and you need to ask them to spray for mosquitto's - the food was very average, but the staff during the day is very polite. If you need a taxi, make sure to have one of the staff members help you out, as it will save you a lot of money. It is also very close to the airport, so that is convenient. I personally hate alcohol and only travel for business, so the social atmosphere was not really for me, but if you are in your teens, and love to drink, I can't imagine a better place for it than the beach front.

Perfect for Spring Breakers and Alcoholics

I speak English and don't speak Wolof or French. I had trouble communicating with the staff.  Our driver who spoke Wolof had trouble communicating with the staff too (e.g., the hotel staff had trouble providing driving directions to the hotel!).  It was $70 USD per night for triple occupancy. Nice bar, but expensive prices.  We were attacked by insects inside the hotel and there was no netting over the beds.  There was no shampoo or soap in room. On the plus side:  nice view of beach, restaurant food was good, the room was clean, the toilet flushed, there was toilet paper and we had a toilet seat.
