Foxhole

I had to move to this hostel as I had to stay and extra night in Novosibirsk and my current hostel was apparently full. I and my taxi driver found it difficult to find on arrival as the door and sign above it are tucked away in a dark corner behind a tree. It is truly a fox hole being in a basement. Nonetheless my room was bright with a window on the sunny side of the building. It has all the usual basic facilities in an eclectic style. Staff were pleasant and helpful but with limited English. They were very accommodating given my late departure which was appreciated. Again like my previous hostel I felt the pricing was high given the nature of the hostel but this may be typical for Novosibirsk. I would also have liked a real bath towel and not a hand towel and I also disliked that the room smelt of stale tobacco.
