Hello! 
I would like to share my experience from this place to everyone so you know about my experience and avoid feeling like i did.
The hotel is very very old and uncared for but this is not the worst thing about it, the worst thing is the hotel staff which is nowhere to be found and which is unpleasant and disrespectful when you encounter them.
In my 3 days stay nobody came to clean the room or change the towels and yet when I finally came in cross with somebody from the front desk they were rude and didn’t do anything about this.
Best of luck to anyone who dare to check in this place!(you need it)

Careless hotel staff

I have been staying at this hotel for a few years now but this year’s experience made me realize that i will never stay here again if they don’t change their behaviour. It has been a truly horrible experience in the 2 weeks we were there. Nobody is cleaning the rooms unless you specifically ask for it at the reception. If you are not at the hotel when the cleaning ladies are around they will not even leave toilet paper in the room. If you are around they ask you if you need toilet paper or if the garbage can is full and you need to give it to them. They do not Even Take the garbage outside the room. Swimming pool was not functional but when i called they me it was...this was solved in 3 days. Last but not least we were informed that if we want to stay at a table outside (we wanted to work from there) we needed to pay for sitting at a table though the hotel had 4 rooms booked. All in all due to the senzitive COVID-19 situation and the high demands for the Romanian sea stays, customer service has decreased significantly and it is a complete mockery. 2020 stay at Laguna hotel is to be avoided-horrible Services.

Horrible experience

We come here every year for this perfect pool. The price is arround 260Ron/55Eur per night and it is mandatory to make a reservation before the summer sezon.
The rooms are average, no air condition and only some rooms have renovated bathroom. Instead the complex has a great position and unique design. 
You also receive a 10% discount to a near restaurant (Corsarul).
They have free parking area.
I recommand this place for a weekend.


Perfect pool

Hotel Laguna is a very comfortable and relaxing place. The pool is gorgeous! The rooms are clean and very spacious and everyone with pool view. The hotel is near the beach and in the middle of the action . We can’t wait to go back each summer :)

Very pleasant place

This is a nicely designed place and very good for kids. There is a central pool and the rooms are around, in 3x1 floor buildings. It is very safe for kids and you can let them run around and enjoy themselves while you do something else .
There is wifi that works OK even if not all the time. 

The personnel is made of young girls that are not much trained in customer support, but then, this is Vama Veche and not a luxury destination.

The most negative part is the very poor build of the rooms. The worst is the shower, this is the most ridiculous design I've ever seen, it is tiny, protected (NOT protected) by very light curtains that fly anywhere but stay around the shower, so the bathroom is always drenched in water in case you dare to take a shower. Literally you walk in deep water. I paid some tip to the maid to have several towels on the floor and exchanged every day, so we can step in the bathroom.

Another negative point is the front entrance, like a little balcony but on the ground floor. When it rained, the water gathered by the entrance door making a big puddle just on your way in to the room. That makes wet shoes and then you wet the whole room. And it doesn't dry fast.

Another one is the doors. They don't close at all or don't close properly. I had both, the bathroom door was crooked so couldn't close at all, and the front door required a big effort in pushing, pulling and ways of turning the key.

And yes, this place is NOISY, as it is all Vama Veche. This is the beach that never sleeps, and one should bring ear plugs and devices if they want to rest. It is not known as being a resting resort :)

Is a very nice place to accomodate, nice pool, clean rooms & very kind staff.
Very close to all atrarctions in Vama Veche :) 
Child friendly (kids pool) and quiet place. 
You have to book ahead (1-2 months especially for the weekends).


Nice nice nice

There is no place to relax since almost all rooms have pool view. The place is overwhelmed by small kids from outside the premises. It seems that the pool is public but nobody tells you before you arrive here. 
We would not have stayed here if we knew that we could not have some reasonable peace.
The ammenities are 2 star average, nothing different from other establishments, since the pool is unusable for adults during daytime.
