Rasnov

Very nice pension overall. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The common area is also very cosy, with plenty of space to stay inside and outside. There is no restaurant but the kitchen is well equipped and there's a small shop right next door if you need something. There are 7 rooms I think so the atmosphere is quite relaxed. 
A nice and short walk to the center of Rasnov. About 10-15 minutes.
Go with confidence.

Great stay

An year has passed and once more we were on the way to the Danube Delta and we needed to stop for the night - so the obvious choice in the city of Rasnov the "Pensiunea Dany&Ady".
Since the last year not much has changed so bullet by bullet the items:  
- cleanliness of the rooms impeccable as we were used to.
- friendly stuff welcoming - still the same approach you let them know when you arrive since they don't have 24 hours reception. (but even if you are late you call the contact number and somebody will show up - even in the middle of the night).
- you can enter with your own shoes - no more changing in the lobby. 
- payment with cash only in Romanian Ron - room/night in the range of 20 Euro - so very pocket friendly.
- parking lot inside the courtyard behind locked main gate. (very safe even if you leave belongings in the car). 
- still no restaurant and no breakfast - what you can have is a coffee (on the house in the common area downstairs - when you get the room they show it to you). So for dinning either you look up a place in the city - either you have the option to grill your own stuff in the courtyard - grill and coal are available on the house. 
- right outside the main gate you'll find a small shop - if you want to grab some cold beer and chips (that's what we had instead of dinner). 
- bathroom - very clean and hot water was running late in the night or very early in the morning . 
Once more keep my opinion - is an Excellent option to spend the night - comfortable and clean, so if you are not in need of luxury - this is still the place for you.

Excellence revisited!!

Altogether I've spent here 2 nights on my way to the Danube Delta during last years autumn trip.
So to summarize the facts: 
- parking in the courtyard behind permanently closed doors - you don't have to leave the car on the street. 
- receptionist they don't have 24/7, but they have somebody on phone 24/7 and if you call  in a few minutes will be there and give you your room. They are very kind and very polite. Don't know what is their skill in English 'cause I did not have to use anything else than Romanian. 
- last year they did not take credit card so make sure you have cash - Romanian Ron. 
- rooms we had at the upper floor, very clean and the approach towards cleanliness is very interesting. Once you enter the lobby they kindly ask you to leave your shoes/boots/whatever and use slippers while you are indoors, this also is part of the "keep it clean" strategy that is working. Rooms very clean, bathrooms very clean. Bed was comfortable and the heating was just right. The bathroom had shower and also they gave you towels - very clean and smelling fresh. So really nothing to complain about - it was 1 of the cleanest accommodations I've been to over the years. 
- checking out is self service - you open the door take your car out and drop the key in the designated bin... fast and easy. 
- they don't serve breakfast and they don't have a restaurant - still this doesn't go against the scoring since I'm rating what they have and not what they should have and in the and is what you see is what you get - so very transparent what you get for your money. 
- value for money very good - I paid like 20 -23 euro/night for the room. 
So to conclude - if you pick this place to spend the night, keep in mind , it is going to be  very clean , simple and suiting the purpose. Simply excellent.

Excellence in Simplicity

We only stayed for a night and the host met us straight away. He was very welcoming but didn't speak any English (had to rely on my girlfriend to translate), which may be a challenge for people who don't speak any Romanian.
The house itself is very nice, although a bit quirky, for instance all bedroom and bathroom doors were frosted glass. The rooms were all ensuite so frosted glass toilet doors isn't as bad as frosted glass bedroom doors.
The garden was big with plenty of seats and play equipment for children, including swings, a slide, and a trampoline. There is also a table tennis table in the garden.
The house is only a 15 minute walk away from the train station which made it an ideal place to stop overnight.
Overall it was a very nice house to stay in and was reasonably priced.

Cute and quirky

Staying here just for one night on our way to the sea. But we appreciated the level of cleaning in the rooms. Also the hoste is very nice and welcoming. Fur our trip this resting place was just great. A little to demanding on keeping the clean since is a paid rest I don't think it is something to be careful with beacouse I was asked to. Not that we don't take care of the cleaning but it was a little wired about that
