Vila Pontica Hotel

We had a dinner in the restaurant and we have been fully satisfied. The location, intimacy,  waiters, surroundings and food were exactly as they are supposed to be. 
Congratulations for being better than the most of your “neighbors”  Mamaia Nord / Navodari!

What`s awesome about this place is that the room themes varies from room to room or suite to suite. Spectacular interior design with a fine taste. They have their own restaurant so you wont need to bring food with you :)

This place is something else. We had a tasty, quite and relaxing dinner. Very helpfull and polite staff. Average waiting time. Meal was tasty and the portions reasonable. Found it by chance located close to the place we are staying. Will go again tonight to try the fish of the day.

Stayed here for 3 days with my family and boyfriend and had an amazing time. The owners are extremely nice and will help you with anything you need (coffee at 7AM before your departure). The villa itself is private with an enclosed courtyard consisting of a large pool and grassy area. Super safe if you have small children. The Black Sea coast is a 3 minute walk down the street and neighboring restaurants are just a 10 minute taxi away (Fratelli, Biutiful by the Sea).

Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a private, relaxing holiday in Navodari.

We went there 2 families, place looks good, rooms are clean and tidy, ..food is very good, personnel exceptional, but we had some not very pleasant surprises:
-on 8th of September, after we had dinner, the restaurant closed. Didn't receive any notice when we booked..and we stayed until 10th..
-in room number 3, they definitely have some issue, lot of moisture so specific smell all over..not happening in room no5, for example, were our friends stayed
-the pool was not so clean, it was ok generally, but you.ll always find in the water some leafs from nearby trees..so I guess its not a good deal to go there at the end of the season.

I've seen the villa last year and this year I choose to stay there and........it was not at all a bad choice. What I liked: the architecture of the building, the garden, the food (they have fresh fish almost every day, depending on the fisherman catch of that day), Cosmo the cat (the "real" patron and definitely the mascot of the place), the music and last but not least, the personnel. What is not quite their best shot is the way they are cleaning the rooms, the scheme they use is questionable, for sure: first day, they take the garbage and a bag is left upon the garbage bin; second day, they change the towels; third day, they clean the room itself and the cycle restarts... But the owners of the place, two young and very nice people, together with the entire team make you feel very comfortable, relaxed and you enjoy a real holiday atmosphere.

Nice dinner.

I stayed at Vila Pontica for 2 nights and it was enough... Vila has a nice court with a swimming pool, a pavilion and lots of greenery. Unfortunately there are cats which stayed on the chairs at the restaurant or pavilion... 
The breakfast was poor enough. I didn’t try another menu for lunch or dinner. 
The room was small with clean linen and dirty carpet. The bathroom was small also without ventilation and no curtain on the shower. At the second day I asked for clean towels but the housekeeper told me that they only change them at 7 days. I insisted and she changed the towels. 
I would not go there for a second stay. 

Dissapointing

Plus:
- quiet
- intimate
- a lot of plants and trees
- rooms were overall ok and had a nice design
- nice and clean pool

Minus:
- very, very slow an poor service: waited 30 mins for 2 espressos, waiters constantly forgot to bring some of the drinks. 
- not customer oriented at all
- lousy food: we ordered pizza from another restaurant just to have one decent meal (breakfast was quite ok though)
- breakfast is served from 8 to 10. Our friends wanted 2 espressos at 7:55 and they were told that it's not open yet and they will start serving breakfast soon and they will be too busy...all waiters were sitting around doing nothing and breakfast is open bar...
- you would expect to rarely to never see the cleaning personnel and find your room clean in a 5 star hotel...well, here, the cleaning personnel asks you to hand out the garbage bag while you are on the toilet... And they don't even bother to fit the bag in the garbage can, they just leave it there for you to do it...again, in a 5 star hotel
- water was leaking from under the shower cabin and got in the room; the carpet was already wet when we got there so I can't believe they did not noticed. 

Overall, nice location but VERY poor service and personnel.

Would not recommend.
