As i wrote in the tittle of my review, this blow my mind of. The rooms are verry cozy, big and clean. The view, is increddible. The thing wich amazed me the most was the food, and service. We tried allmost everything in the menu, and it was amazing, fresh and tasty !!!

Amazin place, even better food !!!

The location is right by the Cerna river, in the middle of the village - not as remote as the pictures show it.
we have booked almost the entire location for 2 nights, as we were approximately 40 people. 
we have agreed with the owner that there would be no restrictions concerning noise levels, however, when we got there, the situation changed.
as the location is right in the middle of a residential area, he claimed that we should keep quiet after 10 PM, otherwise we will for sure get claims from the neighbors. 
in the first evening, he led us to a remote place where we could start a campfire, but for the second night, he claimed 20 RON per person for the same service as he claimed that we burned too much wood. (20 RON x 40 People is 800 RON => ~1,5 cubic meters of wood) we declined as this was way too steep and unrealistic.
we stayed in the location for the 2nd night, and at ~12 PM he came down from his room screaming that we are "destroying everything with loud music" - Bohemian Rhapsody was playing in the background.
next day, he refused to get us lunch as well - eventhough this was also part of the deal. 
we did not receive a receipt from him.
long story short, Mr. Johnny is no friend of ours anylonger. we felt like he was only keen on making money but he was not at all customer oriented.
PS: at the bar, everything had the same price - 8 RON (coffee, beer, coke etc.) - again, there was no receipts to be seen.

Very bad customer service

We had 5 meals there and only one was almost ok. Breakfast was terrible, same for dinner. We paid around 200 lei for all meals, cost for food was 50 lei max. No heat in some rooms, no hot water during the night, only during the day. We wanted to listen to music, which was already agreed with the owner but during the evening he said we cannot since new guest were in…moreover, no receipt for anything, altough we spent around 15000 lei…

Owner only cares about money, he offers almost nothing for this…

A dream place, with landscapes that give you 100 different states per minute. At the reception you will meet a very kind gentleman willing to answer any questions. Cleanliness (for the most demanding people) is a strong point of this pension .. moon and light bulb, congratulations to the lady! If I haven't convinced you so far, let me tell you a little about the gastronomic side: #famous! The menu and the taste of the dishes here make you think of grandma's food. Taste, appearance and lots of love. We felt great and thank you for that.

With no words ...

It has the most amazing mountain views and you can have a dip in the river Cerna. 
If fishing is your passion, you can throw a line in whilst enjoying a beer or cooking a bbq.
If you are like me and don't want to cook whilst on holiday, you can enjoy delicious  a la carte food cooked with local ingredients.
Rooms a clean and spacious done with great taste. If you've been here before and have a room preference, you would know already that bookings must be made with at least 3-4 months before the summer season starts.
Johnny is a great host and will make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive and he is someone that you will not forget easly once you meet him.
Must try the local wine which he has named it "Vin la Johnny cu mult drag"
I' have been at Pensiunea Cuibul Viselor "La Johnny" a few times during summer, but I would love to come here once during winter to see al the mountains and trees covered in white, maybe next time :)

Very good food and wonderful people.It is located on the river Cerna, is a very quiet place and with a wonderful view.
Travel as many times as you can here, do not regret it.I am here three times a week. 

Recommend with confidence

It was a good experience overall we dined and had a great time, we want to be free, we want to have a great time, we want to get loaded, and this place was the exact place for all that. Great place to visit, I sugest you try the hiking routes nearby

Great view

A lovely place on the riverside with great mountain views. The rooms look very welcoming and clean. And the food is great. The garden is lovely  be it winter or summer give this place a try if you want to visit Baile Herculane, and the host is also great. 
P. S. You will also be welcomed by 2 cute kittens.
