Hotel location for all the village ammenties is excellent, the rooms are very good in the hotel & staff are very proffessional.
There are alot of food options within minutes of the location & it's a great base for hiking or winter sports.

Short trip

Very nice Guest House in center of Szczyrk.
Simple ,but very nice decorated and clean room.
Perfect breakfast, like at least 4 star hotel.
Coffee &  tea FOC 24/7
Lot of very nice  dinning places  around.
Very nice and polite staff , always helpful.
Good relaxtion facilities (sauna, Jacuzzi, etc)

Good stay in Winter Season

The place is cosy, decorated in a scandinavian style- beautifully. The rooms are simple but nice. Nice breakfasts served in the restaurant area, however there is no possibility to have lunch or dinner on spot (in the guesthouse). Staff exrimely nice and helpful. The only thing is that they play loud disco-polo music all day from the tv by the lobby...

Cosy

We stayed at Maria in September 2015 & June 2016. Overall very pleasant visit both times.

Positives:
-very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable receptionists,
-ideal central location,
-basic but very clean & nicely decorated rooms,
-nice view from the window,
-reasonable price,
-free and fast WiFi

Negatives:
-after refurbishment including addition of a wedding venue and Jacuzzi/sauna prices went up by 40%
-Jacuzzi bath very basic/no filtration system, based in the basement which smells really musty. To the use this facility you have to let reception know a few hours in advance. We ended up not using Jacuzzi during our stay as the water needed changing and we just couldn't stand the smell in the basement.

Pleasant stay x2

We spent a long weekend in the end of February in this guesthouse. We booked a room for 3 persons and it was spacy, clean, nice and simply furnished room with a LCD TV. The double room was pretty small, however also nice and clean. 
A small minus for the lightening in the bathrooms. 
The breakfast was very good, each day you got two new warm dishes and in general you had some to choose from in the breakfast buffet. The coffee was excellent, juice and water and cakes for all guest at every time.
The SPA area and the chillout was also a great idea, where you can spend time with friends in the evening. The location is very good near to restaurants, grocery stores and ski lifts. Free parking is also available for all guests.

Nice weekend with friends in the town center of Szczyrk

We chose the Maria for a weekend break - 2 teenage boys + 2 dogs + 2 adults - because we could fit the group into an "apartment" and it did not cost an arm and a leg - The guest houses past is displayed in photos in the reception and it looked like the place to go in Szczyrk 50+ years ago.  Now the place has been extended providing Banqueting facilities over a supermarket.  The rooms were bearable - breakfasts very good and staff wonderful !
