1390 reviewsThis was our first time at the Spatz Hotel, and in Krakow, but it won’t be our last, we have loved it! The room was ideal, I struggled to straighten my hair a bit just because of where the mirror is compared to the plug, but that’s a minor gripe. My mum doesn’t have the best mobility and our room was on the 2nd floor, but she managed ok, but something to consider when booking as there is no lift. The breakfast was lovely, fresh and filling with plenty of choice, it set us up each day for exploring. We booked trips to Auschwitz & Birkenau and Schindlers Factory with the hotel, as well as our airport transfers. This did make it a bit more expensive but it was so much easier with it being our first time and it was seamless. The tours were via Krakow Direct who were excellent and the hotel made us a fab packed lunch for one of them too. The hotel is well placed in the Jewish district with a little market square nearby and plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants. We can highly recommend Warzstat right across the road, quirky but cheap and excellent food. The castle and main market square are a short walk away. We hopped on a golf buggy to see the rest of the city which is a great way to see more and hear the history behind it too. Outside can be a bit noisy but we only had to close our window on one night. You can hear other guests but that’s mainly because side they were slamming their doors when coming and going! The bar is grand with that really nice outside area that’s perfect for relaxing with some amazing tapas options. Staff are really friendly and answered all of our questions, and our room was cleaned each day(we placed the sign on the door) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again.
