10 reviewsI arrived very early in the morning and needed a room to rest for a couple of hours before having an interview at the immigration office. The location was ideal for me, being 2 blocks from the office and a short walk to the plaza and banks. There was someone waiting at reception for me and were prompt in getting me to my room. The room was basic, but comfy. After a 2 hour nap i was a bit disappointed that i had no hot water, even after letting it run for 15 minutes and although Tarapoto is generally hot and humid, at 7am the air temperatures are not quite high enough to endure a cold shower (for me) On check out i was able to store my bags for the few hours i needed. The moto-taxi charged me s/8 from the bus terminal to the hostel (although i was advised by the hostel it was approximately s/5, and the driver agreed to that price until he got to the hostel, then said it was more)
