My partner and I stayed at Hostel Mar Azul whilst on a medical mission trip to Peru. The hostel was clean; the staff was friendly and the location was great. It was right on the beach, so the views at the rooftop breakfast were lovely. The hotel is very centralized to the overall area with many shops, restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. Like some of the previous reviews stated, it does get rather noisy at night. However, you are staying on a boardwalk with many bars and nightlife activities. This is to be expected. It wasn't necessarily a major con for me, as the noise did not bother me much.

A great hotel to have a nice rest before long walks around the city. Hotel «Hostal Mar Azul» is located in Paracas. This hotel is located in the very center of the city. In the morning, have a cup of coffee while looking at the city from the window. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — El Chaco Beach.
