We stayed in a room for a couple, the view of the room was magnific, sadly was the only thing memorable of the room, the bathroom is way too small, you can barely shower there, the second day the water was running off. In general all the instalations look with lack of maintenence. The food isn’t good and it is overprice. Also the attention is very regular (the dont really seem to be worry about you having a great stay). It’s about 25 min walking to the Beach , so it’s ok only if you want to stay in a quiet place.

Not worth the price

The villa was not in good condition, lock did not work properly, broken lights, tight smelly bathroom, tore bedsheets, poor service, inattentive staff.The place is way too far from the good beach. Room is not worth the asking price. I would not recommend anyone to stay in this place. There are better cheaper options. Sister Moon sucks big time.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

I have coming to Sister Moon for 6 years, 3 or 4 times a year, under three different owners.  I appreciate the lack of air conditioning and the cold water only showers because it is the most tranquil place on a busy and loud island.  Not so anymore. For some reason, the new owners have decided to install a bar deck on the edge of the property that blasts reggaeton and trap/house music all day, whether it is empty or not. The music is so loud that it feels like it is in your cabana. When I spoke to the front desk she said she understood but then did nothing about it.  They have lost my business, might as well pay half the price and stay in the middle of  the dance party instead of  the pain in the neck it is to get to as long as they are going to destroy the one advantage they had.

Used to be worth it, no longer

I'm super mad that I paid $350 for two nights and this villa was falling apart. The barbeque had a hole, the floor was dirty and broken, everything had dust, there was a network of spiders and dead cockroaches. The paper towel they had was dirty and we had to throw it away, the bathroom had no handle and it did not serve the water. The door knobs were dirty and rusty. Some furniture didn't had pillows and were disgusting and rusty. As there was no water we could not bathe and we went around 8 at night and there was no one in the hotel to help us and we went multiple times during the day. I wrote to the manager to request a refund and she ignored me. Terrible service, this is a scam!

Its a Scam! I do not recommend it

We stayed with my Gf and 3 friends in hotel Sister Moon about a month ago and the place was just awesome! We chilled by the pool, went hiking to el faro and snorkeled on the reef thats infront of the hotel. Its got great views, comfy rooms and great attention. 
Recomended for a quick get away!

Great get away trip

Isla Grande is a wonderful Panamanian hideaway in the Caribbean Sea. And in Isla Grande, the Sister Moon Hotel is a perfect place to stay. With its huts balanced on a hill over the sea, you sleep with the noise of the waves. The rooms are simple, like everything on the Island, but adequate. The pool and restaurant are satisfactory. You will not regret the choice!

Hidden gem

The hotel is in a beautiful setting overlooking the ocean. The pool and deck are great to relax in and watch the waves.  The restaurant food was good (need hour notice for dinner). The rooms are really rustic and ours did not have AC.  Also, note that there is not a public beach on Isla Grande. We spent all day at Coconuts on the other side of island at their beach and would probably stay there if we went again. We were traveling with 2 teens.

Beautiful setting, basic rooms

The sundeck & bar were very nice-GREAT VIEW. The ride over in the water taxi was exhilarating since we came over on a very windy afternoon.  Our stay didn't start out the best when they couldn't find my reservation.  Showed them it on my tablet with the price that was negotiated or they were going to charge me more.Our room was for 4 adults,so we knew what room that was going to be.The balcony was very small barely enough room for the hammock and one chair.The beds were not very comfortable, we added cushions from their outdoor furniture, made it much better.The bathroom toilet was only good for one flush at a time.Others had to wait or use the downstairs bathroom in the restaurant.The sink only ever had a very small trickle of water, you could barely get your hands wet.  But, the shower worked.We were very disappointed in the pool.It was so cloudy you could only see the first two steps.We really wanted to go in especially since the beach was at the other end of the island,but didn't go in.It would have made everything else so much more tolerable.You would think someone could have managed to clean it up.  The restaurant was fine, food was good.  Higher priced but then you are on an island.  Didn't know you could order your food ahead of time like others did, rather than wait at the table like we did.  The bar was nice and the bartender & all staff were very good.Although they did list many drinks on their menu, they didn't have many to choose from.They had no Rum and no Coke.

It could have been better.

The only reason I write this review is to warn you. We hired a villa to stay there with friends and children. The villa had an amazing view and interesting design which was very appealing from the photos we saw. Unfortunately, the place was a construction site where the 
-	Balcony had no railing 
-	The showers were not working
-	Cables where exposed
-	The staircase was not secured with a safe railing so you can easily fall down on both side of the stairs – a complete nightmare for children!!
The villa is unfinished and shouldn’t be rented.
