I was looking for somewhere to stay near Stavanger airport and this was a brilliant choice - 30 mins away. It would also be a really good choice if you were visiting the city too. The accommodation comprises a number of large houses and you can book a room inside each lodge or the whole lodge. This means you can share the kitchen, lounge and patio area of each lodge with others guests. After staying in so many hotels it was lovely to have a fridge etc. Each lodge maybe has approximately 4-5 bedrooms. The lodge I stayed in was right on the water and it was lovely to sit out on the terrace, watching the boats go by. It’s a very peaceful setting. The place is well signposted from the main road and was very easy to find. It’s was spotlessly clean and had everything you could want - good shower, internet, comfy beds, bottle opener. In a slight difference to a hotel, you do need to think ahead about breakfast and bring something with you for that. Parking was easy. Overall it’s a great choice when staying in this area. To boot, the owners are so friendly and helpful, I felt almost immediately at home and wish I had booked for more than one night. There is a local map showing some walking trails and I believe you can go swimming nearby. Unlike a lot of accommodation in Norway this was excellent value for money. Thoroughly recommended!

Lovely place to stay

Nice place to stay along the route between Stavanger and Haugesund.
It’s easy to find it and it has signs all the way from the main road (just follow the Åmøy road signs)
Quick and easy check in and the service was pleasant, we had no meals included in our stay but the kitchen in the house had everything needed to prepare both breakfast and dinner. The grocery store is located just five minutes from Åmøy Fjordferie.
The room was nice and clean with plenty of space for a long term stay, the bathroom was equally clean.
The view from the kitchen area was pleasant and scenic so we ended up sitting and enjoying the breakfast for a good hour before we had to leave!
Will absolutely recommend this place both for pleasure/leisure stay and for work travel if have to travel by road along the E39!

Nice quiet place with good service

I got a single room. Super clean.  The place is located very close to the see. There are some food options around but do not expect for .... The owners were nice. Great value for what I paid. I would recommend it.

We love this place. Close to see,  beautiful  view, possible to go fishing, to go bike, great  place to relax, near to the airport , near to the city, near to bus stop. But especcialy very nice people. Jitka + Zdeněk, Czech republic.

wonderful place, nice people

We were warmly welcomed by the owner,  even though it was late by the time we arrived, Even at that time of the day, he made time to share lots of information about the area. The rooms are located in very spacious, modern, well equipped and warm houses, beautifully located right at the waterfront, we even saw a little seal playing in the water for quite a while.
we had an en-suite bathroom in our room which was super clean, as was the rest of the house. We shared the house the first night with a family with young children in the other room but we hardly knew that were there, sound proofing is obviously of high standard. A great place to explore from, there is lots to see and do and as I said, we booked one night but were very happy to be able to stay on for a second. Can certainly recommend
