Our stay at Full Moon was the most enjoyable we've ever had. From the beginning, we enjoyed all their amenities.  They have an international restaurant where i was able to get dishes from home. They have spa and a gym with the friendliest staff. While we were there, we experienced a personal tragedy and the way they responded was unprecedented.  The entire staff made sure we knew they cared and were genuinely sympathetic.  They just went above and beyond. I had never seen hospitality like that. The staff felt like friends and family by the time we checked out. The hotel itself is big and clean. The rooms are spacious. Ovetall, its a great deal. The marketing manager was amazing with us, adding a personal touch to everything.  We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Owerri..

Best hotel in Owerri

I stayed at this hotel in January 2020 and returned to Full Moon for more than a week stay in April 2021 for another wonderful experience. I have traveled all over the world, and I thought my best hotel experience was in Singapore and China but Full Moon hotel is  the top on the list of hotels I have stayed in different cities in Nigeria, North America, Europe and Asia. What's so unique and pleasant about this hotel is everything gets better with time. In order words, the longer you stay the more you like it. The business center, buffet breakfast, pool-side bar, reception service, room service, laundry service, etc. were exceptional. The hotel has registered drivers that can take guests around the city safely. My special thanks to the management team and the entire staff for the great work they are doing to make Full Moon a world-class hotel, especially the able Operations Manager Ms. Esther, Cynthia (restaurant) and Hope (business center), just to mention a few.

I highly recommend this hotel and it remains my destination while visiting Owerri.

5-Star Service at a Reasonable Price

Im a frequent business traveler, with stops in many countries and cities. This obviously implies frequent hotel stays, so I know a good hotel when I see one and truly this is an outstanding hotel.

This is my second stay in Full Moon and I must say I am more than impressed. 

The staff were all are courteous and very welcoming, always wearing a smile and well dressed, ready to assist. I even was offered a complimentary juice drink on arrival...nice touch.

The rooms are obviously purpose-built and not some quick shoddy afterthought. Large and with great lighting. Everything works seamlessly. Hot water, air conditioning work on demand.

Cleanliness can be seen in clean, fresh sheets, no dust or residue from previous guests.
The toilet was spotless without plumbing rust stains or smell.

Many channels on the television for all ages. 

Very regular power, Internet and tight security.

I could go on but suffice to say that this comes across as very lovely, clean, safe and well run hotel at an affordable rate. 

I highly, highly recommend Full Moon for anyone in Owerri

Outstanding, Worldclass

Stayed in the executive room and was very spacious for one person. Very accommodating staff. Haven’t been to Owerri in a while and didn’t kno my way around but Ms. Esther, manager of the hotel, helped me get a car, driver, and security. I have no complaints.

Owerri trip

Stayed here for a night this month whilst transiting the State. This place remains one of my favourite hotels in Nigeria. For a start the staff are simply amazing, and secondly, the place is faultless, including the free wifi. Last, but definitely not the least, the hotel is always spotlessly clean.
Special thanks this trip to Stella on reception, for a flawless reservation process, and a big vote of appreciation to the operations manager Ester, ever present as always. Hope to see you again before too long.


Still the best

Stayed here for a week, and think its one of the best hotels I have stayed in whilst in Nigeria. Nothing bad to say, room was  spotless, staff were superb, food choice & quality much better than most places I have stayed, pool area well maintained, with good poolside bar, I could go on & on, but I won't. Special thanks to the following staff who went that extra mile in service - Esther the ops manager, Jane in the restaurant, Samuel my room attendant, and Jubilee on reception, who kept giving me little local snacks to try. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thanks all at the Full Moon. Hope to be back.

Ten out of Ten

We had a quiet and peaceful stay in this quaint hotel. It's a place i would love to visit again but they have to deal with the mosquitoes.....gosh the mosquitoes!!!! You can't wear shorts and sit for long by the pool side at night. You'd be inviting malaria. Generally quiet at night, neat rooms and bathrooms.

Really good place to relax.....

I have not been to Owerri for over 15 years and decided to visit the city last week. I talked to friends who recommended this hotel. My preference has always been Protea hotel.
I was very apprehensive of this place at first, until I arrived at full moon hotel. It was quite impressive and welcoming. Very clean interiors, serene environment and customer focused employees.
I recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to enjoy luxury and taste of Owerri local dishes at competitive prices.

Owerri Trip

My stay at Full moon Hotel Owerri was a unique experience. Sure, I’ll visit again. Stayed here with my newly wedded wife, we had a good time. Friendly staffs, always ready to help, clean rooms with the right kind of class. Hotel ground and ambience is chilled and very clean. Was available for the breakfast buffet, not enough food to choose from but it was nice. 

Arrange your own cab, private car or be ready to do with the in-Hotel cabs that charges so high just to hit the town. Hotel is located in a serene environment where public transportation is hard to come by.

In all, Full Moon is a must visit any other time i’m in Owerri town.

So far one of my best in Owerri, Nigeria

Stayed here in February with a group of friends (a large wedding party).  The hotel is nice, the rooms were nice and spacious and the amenities were satisfactory.  It's also in a good location that isn't noisy and rowdy so this was a plus for us. The breakfast selection was okay but I think the process for refilling the contents of the buffet trays could have been quicker. All in all, it was good value for money and I would stay there again.
