What an exceptional stay at this gem in Lagos! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine Nigerian hospitality. The location couldn't be better - perfectly situated, making it easy to explore everything Lagos has to offer.
     Our suite was spacious and thoughtfully appointed, with reliable air conditioning keeping us comfortable in the Lagos heat. The fresh, crisp linens added a touch of luxury, and we appreciated the fully stocked fridge with complimentary bottled water. The dependable backup generators ensured uninterrupted power supply throughout our stay - a crucial amenity in Lagos. The complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi kept us connected, and the secure, free parking gave us peace of mind.
     The security team was highly professional and vigilant, maintaining a safe environment 24/7. The housekeeping team deserves special recognition - they were incredibly attentive and responsive at all hours, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay.      
     The real highlight was the dining experience. The kitchen staff were absolutely delightful, and the cook's talent shone through in every dish. Their warmth and dedication to service made each meal special.
     If you're looking for a hotel that combines perfect location, exceptional service, and comfortable accommodations in Lagos, look no further. This property exceeded all our expectations with its thoughtful amenities and outstanding service. A truly exceptional experience that I highly recommend to both business and leisure travelers.

A place like home,I really enjoyed my staying there,the staff's  are fantastic and hardworking especially the manager Susan, therefore I recommend preserve apartments hotel and suit as a reliable hotel to stay 

Cool and calm place

I recently visited the preserve and I have to say that my experience was so pleasurable. The staff were extremely warm and responsive to my needs and always ensured I was comfortable. The customer service is second to none and I like the feel of being at home away from home. I will definitely be staying at the preserve on my next visit

Impeccable Customer Service

We stayed for only one night and it was one night too many. The Google reviews will mainly focus on the rude or inappropriate behavior of the front desk staff. However, I did not have that experience. Blank was very cordial and assisted in showing rooms before booking. But the A/C behind them doesn't even work, so they are hot and most likely annoyed and uncomfortable by the time guests start to check in mid-afternoon. It's even worse in the evening and that entire hallway is just too hot and stifling. So people should think twice before judging rude demeanor when it's actual lack of comfort. In their shoes, you wouldn't be so jovial either. 

Rooms: We came for the standard room (N21K) and were also shown the Deluxe. Deluxe (N25-26K) was decent but we just opted for the standard room. That lasted 1 min after our bags were brought into the room. Four luggages made the space already too tight. So we decided to upgrade to the Deluxe. While my husband went to do that, is when I really started to notice differences. The standard room (#8) was very dimly lit and didn't have a fridge, and I remembered the Deluxe had one. The curtains block off the most atrocious view and the bathroom is the size of a public stall, including the shower. 

Now my husband comes back stating that she will also show us the Executive (N30K). The Executive is what most people would probably expect for a Deluxe. We finalized for the Executive. The saying is that you pay for what you get, but you don't always get what you pay for. 

Issue#1- The AC which goes no lower than 17C will feel like a nice mid-powered fan, not an actual air con.

Issue#2- The shower doesn't drain at all and the water is dirty. The color is like light urine. We found this out at the convenient hour of 8 pm, when ready to shower. Called the front desk, who said plumbing was coming. We assumed it would be on-site staff, but it was an actual outside party, who just sent two boys to do what, we don't even know. They literally asked my husband what he wants them to do. My husband is actually telling them to get a plunger or something. They tinkered around and said that it's the plumbing of how the building was first made and there is nothing they can do now; that maybe....yes, MAYBE, they will see in the morning. 

Issue#3- The toilet seat is not attached to the commode. It's not even broken. You can see that it was just defective from the very beginning and they just propped it on the commode and has been used that way ever since. Can you imagine?

Issue#4- No hot water....or so we thought. We kept complaining that there wasn't any hot water, but was told there is. I begged for her to come and see for herself, if she didn't believe me. Then another girl says, oh....it's probably off. Let me come turn it on. You can go to your room and it will be on in a min. Really??? But why would it be off in the first place??? So when was the last time anyone was in that room?  

Food: We didn't eat there, but met the server while she was coming from delivering water. She was cordial. We inquired about food. She said there was no menu, but told us they sell rice and swallow. Every price was N5K. 

WiFi: Good luck! When we were going for the standard, she stated the network is down for that room. But the Deluxe is fine. When we switched to the Executive (Room 12), she said it gets great reception. It absolutely did not. It lagged badly. We used our own 5G for the majority of the night. 

TV: Standard Samsung TV. Maybe 27in. Highly doubt it 32. No Apps or Smart TV. Regular Cable. We used the iPad to watch Netflix.

Location: It's quiet because there is really nothing around it, whether down the street or off the main road. You will need a car, or use Bolt to get to anything. 

Pests: I only saw one small bug in the first room and I killed that one myself, but it was on the bed, which is very low to the floor. In the Executive, it was the one ant in the sink, but no cockroaches or anything like that. I believe it may be more of an issue, the closer you are to the main floor. I did not witness any mosquitoes or flies.

Cleanliness: Generally clean, excluding the rusty shower stall and dirty water. Bedding should be better. The sheets were clean but had those iron-like stains here and there. 

Overall, this is not a place for a staycation/baecation/any-cation. This is an "I need a place to rest my head for the night, and I can wash in the sink" spot. And that's assuming you're in the Deluxe or the Executive, not the standard. I've added the pics, but if you go to the Google review, I will post my videos. Good luck and happy traveling!

Have reserve when choosing the Preserve

I booked this place on the app in the morning. Arrived at near midnight and they'd given out my reservation and offered me a more expensive place, three times the price with no apologies. I had to step out into the night to find another place. Please spare yourselves and Don't book here.
