The owner Vicky was kind and compassionate and me and my kids felt very welcomed. In a stressful time she made sure we were comfortable. The facilities are clean and safe. I highly recommend them:) and will gladly go back.

We had an issue with the Motorhome so needed accommodation at short notice. The garage recommended this holiday park, and Vicky made us feel very welcome, fantastic host, and made sure the dogs were looked after too. Park was spotless, very colourful and a great end to a long day dealing with engine troubles.

I enjoyed my 4 day stay at this camp, found it a little far out to drive anywhere. Overall impression of the camp, Vickie the owner has excellent customer service skills, very helpful and hospitable. Her husband helped me when I locked myself out of van. The camp is the older style but immaculately clean and tidy. Coins needed for showers and laundry. Hard surface to park motorhome on was easy, I like not having to skid on grass.

We are five people. Our unit has one bed room with single bed and double bed. There is another two single bed in the living room. The room and the bathroom are clean. There is kitchen with complete cooking stuff. The wifi really good, fast.

Definitely Will go back to this holiday park.We had a family unit which was awesome everything you needed. The beds and linen lovely and clean the bench top shone, only thing was the TV reception was snowing and could watch it.

We enjoyed our stay here at a powered site.  They allowed us to bring our small dog and as we were placed away from others, she was able to be unleashed.  The facilities were clean, but somewhat dated.  The staff and the other campers were very friendly.  It was no bother getting the coins for the showers from the lovely lady at reception.  As it was a more affordable holiday park, it was better than expected. We would stay again.

Overall a brilliant time!

Positives - The lady at reception was outstanding with giving us an upgrade and very helpful with showing us the best bars and what to visit, we stuck to her plan and was the best time we had all of our trip around NZ. Perfect location right next to a pub. 

Another one is that I was with my old man who talks alot when I want my power nap before the beers, the walls were solid so I could'nt hear him moaning at the telly!

Negatives - A tiny bit outdated but you pay less than other places around with good staff.

we have stayed here many times and if we going to be late in the key is left in after hours key box in a envelope and details of cabin emailed to us .When we had a small dog they allowed us to bring him for our stays the grounds are well kept kitchens in cabin are handy . abit of a hassle having cash for showers

Situated right by a main road with heavy noisy  trucks thundering past all day and night.. couldn't sleep!    The whole place sadly needs maintenance and sprucing up. Staff very rude,they sure have an attitude problem. Don't they realise that  happy customers are their best advertising?  One would think that  treating them with respect instead of downright rudeness would be pretty obvious.   Camp kitchen is small.

NO SLEEP....

This Park is a great location but is  in need of serious investment. An awsome potential for a proactive owner. Very basic facilities, location is convenient with easy  access to the city and local hotel with restaurant. In our opinion this camp ground is overpriced for the facilities provided.
