The location is convenient just 5 minutes walk to town centre, there is a shopping mall and supermarket opposite to this motel.  The staff is very helpful and willing to introduce all the place to go. My room is studio and it is clean and nice, highly recommend.

Great staff and convenient place.

Convenient location and comfortable bed. The reception lady showed us lots of suggestion and things to do here.  The room is not very spacious but enough for us. Continental breakfast included is a really nice touch.  Will definitely book again.

A lovely place to stay.

We stayed for 2 nights visiting the Maori village and Wai O Tapu. 
Pros:
1. Great location like 5 mins walk to Rotorua Central Mall
2. Near to the Maori village 
3. Parking is just in front of our unit 
4. Helpful staff - Diana helped us by putting the keys in the locker and set the heater warming in our room for our late check in - Super nice gesture & we appreciate it 

2. Cons
1. Breakfast is between 8-9am only which isn’t very flexible for late sleepers
2. Breakfast isn’t fantastic but reasonable
3. No recycle bins for plastic or cans thrash 

Overall I strongly recommend this place for its location and great customer service 

Decent stay 

Good location, a good continental breakfast, and a clean room. The rooms were small but the host did advise us of this prior to booking. All in all, we were happy with the hotel. The bed was only a double an there was limited hanging space for clothes.

Small room but good value.

This place is a short walk to lots of interesting stuff in Rotorua (thermal park, garden, lake, main strip, etc.) and the room was sufficient (slightly dated, but more than adequate). The WiFi was also easy and useful. Beware, much of the water in the area smells a bit of sulfur; it’s not just this place.  

Good location; affordable; decent accomodation

Affordable accommodation. Location was really handy to the shopping complex across the road and town in general.  Studio unit tidy, nothing flash and all we needed. Complimentary continental breakfast which suited our needs. Reception staff lovely and friendly.

Convenient Place

I am an American traveling in New Zealand.  Overall I have found New Zealand lodging to be quite satisfactory.  Although the shower had very low pressure, the Accolade was satisfactory.  It is an older, well-maintained facility.  It is located close to the city center center.  My accommodations were fine.  The continental breakfast left much to be desired.  The options were not very good.  If I had rented this place at a more reasonable price I would have been happier, but it was the ANZAC Holiday.  Maybe I should be happy that I got a room.

Overpriced. but it was ANZAC Holiday

We should have realised you get what you pay for , this motel is old, tired and very cheap. The room had no A/C, they just put a fan in the room instead, no wardrobe just some hangers on the wall and a very modest tired kitchen. The bed was ok and the bed linen was clean but the bathroom was rather grim. See pictures attached. We booked and paid for breakfast , that was very poor. You had a choice of a couple of cereals, the thinnest cheapest bread for toast , butter cut up into half inch cubes , small amounts of marmalade in plastic cups like medicine cups from a cold/flu syrup, the one flavour yoghurt was only in a large tub not individual pots and the cheapest orange juice you could buy. Needless to say it wasn’t very good so we didn’t bother after the first day. 
This motel is adequate if you are on a limited budget but don’t annoy the manager as you will get told off. We arrived just after 7pm and were told off because the office closed at 7pm - we had no idea we even had to be there by 7pm ! 
This is not a place that we would recommend- even the basic travel lodges are better than this.

For the price paid, I was disappointed.

The hotel is centrally enough located, with a retail park handily located opposite.

The room was clean but very basic and there was no central heating - just portable heaters. The bathroom was chilly and dated.

Breakfast was poor. The variety and quality of items on offer was disappointing.

Staff were rather elusive and not very warm and friendly. I'm not sure the receptionist cared much.

Overall, disappointing. There are definitely much nicer places with better facilities for similar or a little more money.

Rotorua was a good and enjoyable experience however.
