This is such a great hotel/motel. The motel is  very spacious and clean. Has everything you need for a very pleasant stay.  If you want accommodation in Blenheim go ahead and book and the roast of the day was so good.  Excellent parking and the price is great value.

Lovely, warm, clean, well appointed and comfortable motel unit, only 10 minutes out of Blenheim. My meal was tasty and great value for money. The staff were friendly and efficient. I will definitely stay here again when I am staying Blenheim for business

Hey team, everytime we visit or get takeaways you nail it but tonight, those fries were banging!!! It might only be fries but they were the best I think I've had in nz in 16yrs. Usually they are great but tonight they were golden and crunchy even by the time we got home. 
Service is always with a smile and some kiwi banter be it a pop in for a quiet drink with the kids, hunting comp, takeaway etc. Thanks again team.

Well the Woody never ever fails, great atmosphere, excellent staff that make you feel right at home, beaut fire to warm you up on those cool nights. Excellent food!!!! You can get some great grub and beverages at the Woody.. A true credit to everyone who is part of the the Woody Team

We had originally checked out the menu online as we were looking for somewhere in Renwick to eat on our late journey home. This is a fantastic wee tavern with an extensive range of food all at very reasonable pricing. All cooked perfectly after very little wait and both our HUGE meals (500gram steak and open steak sammie) tasted incredible. definately recommend. good friendly hosts too!

We weren't too hungry so just had a bar meal each & they were lovely. Burger was really well put together & my steak was cooked perfectly. Reasonably priced for what we had with happy, friendly service too.

After failing our first stop the wife and I stop at this establishment. We were reeted immediately and it was nice to get the attention we recieved. We both decided on the roast of the day. The weather outside wad horrible so that meal was to warm us up. When we received the meal we were really surprised to see how much was on the plate. Really worth it. We were first in and by the time we left it was starting to fill up (with locals I believe ). So its a very popular place. Thoroughly recommend.

Friendly service. Huge portions of homely, tasty food. Beer was a bit pricey but it is everywhere.

Visited on a Saturday night and we were one of 2 eating in, a few others popped in for takeaway. We did not go in the bar next door.

Decent restaurant meal

We stayed here so we could tour the vineyards and this was booked for us by someone else. The location was perfect for bike riding around the vineyards- right at the start of the trail. However, I feel the price we paid for this accommodation was not justified. The rooms were dark and dated with only fluorescent lighting and we were were woken up at 4am both mornings by people outside in the car park. Our room wasn’t cleaned and our bed wasn’t made during our stay.

Ok for a stopover?

My family stopped here for dinner and unfortunately had a horrible experience. We never are the people to complain about food but my "lamb roast" was refried lamb and was absolutely horrible the potatoes were dry and seemed reheated also. My partners steak must of been frozen as was cooked perfectly but was the toughest steak I have ever tried. We talked to staff only to wait ten minutes to be addressed the were made to feel it was our fault for having a bad experience. They informed us that they refry old roast for the roast meals. They then took our food threw it away and tried to give us a 20 dollar voucher saying we ate to much of it which was absolutely crazy. My partner and I have both worked hospitality and have never felt more uncomfortable in a pub. I would give this place a 0 if possible. I tried to get in touch with the owner to discuss our experience but no one seemed to care. Very poor avoid this pub
