We spent 4 nights here and it is a great place for a longer stay as the kitchen is fully equipped. Including a full oven. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed being able to swim in the pool. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful. 
The location was also another bonus, close to the town. About two blocks to walk. Also Hastings was was a good base for visiting other nearby towns and places. 

A Great Motel

I stayed in unit 6 for 3 nights while visiting family. The room was large with a fully equipped kitchen and separate bedroom. The traditional style motel is located in a quiet street two blocks from the Main Street of Hastings.

Clean, large, quiet unit in great location

Quiet, clean, exteremely friendly and obliging host. Everything you need for a stay. Well appointed. All crockery, cutlery, appliances and cooking equipment in good working lrder andvery clean. Free wifi and convenient parking.Need anything?  Just ask.

Recommended for your stay no matter how long

Family stay for the weekend.  Our hosts were amazing especially Mr. The room was clean and comfortable.  The location is also great and handy to everything. Our hosts couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommended and definitely going to stay again.

Great place

We had a group of 4 adults and had 2 units. Nice quiet and roomy place to stay with rooms clean and well serviced. Thank you for turning on heat pumps late in the afternoon so we came back in the evening  to nice warm units. Only thing that you could improve on is the Wi-Fi reception in back units. 

Great place to stay

We stayed here for one night as it was convenient for the town for meals as we were on our way to Wellington.
We had a fabulous room/studio. A separate double bedroom and then a spacious lounge/kitchen (single bed in lounge) and lovely big bathroom.
It was very very clean and very well appointed. Quiet and a short walk to shops and restaurants. The host was lovely and friendly. We have been travelling the North Island and staying in motels and hotels, this is the best buy far! Couldn't fault a thing, would definitely recommend.

Fantastic motel! Highly recommend 

Very well located accommodation - pretty much everything in the city is a not too long walk - all flat as well. The motel was very clean and I really liked the firm mattress, which is way better for the back than the jelly like mattresses found in most places, even at twice the price.
Value wise, probably slightly more expensive than it should be when compared with similar motels in other areas of the country. Broadband (WiFi) speed was very good as well. The property is well maintained and has a personal touch from the team to assist beyond the basics.

A good all rounder

we had 3 nights at the motel which were enjoyable. We required an accessible unit which was very satisfactory. The hosts offered a shower stool but we had brought our own. Unit was clean and comfortable and was well priced.

Motel is very quiet and in a handy location.
