A very welcome reception. Well organized, well trained and polite staff. About 1 hour drive from sossusvlei gate an oasis of rest. Good price / Quality balance. Nice activities organized. Good airco and clean rooms. Lovely bathroom. Diner was simple but good in a nice setting outside by the pool area.

Perfect Lodge Infinity Pool

This place is an oasis in the desert! I'm told it was recently remodeled and they did an amazing job. 

The chalets are comfortable, clean, spacious, and have outdoor seating and roof seating (great for star gazing). The bathroom was spacious and set up perfectly for two (or even more) people. 

The buffet breakfast and dinner were delicious and drinks were reasonably priced. 

The pool area was serene and comfortable, great views of the mountains. Though it's close to the road, it's still very quiet. They have a watering hole where we saw Oryx and a mother warthog with her babies were running around every day. 

The staff and management were warm and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Desert Oasis

The staff is very friendly,  the location is perfect as a base to visit Sesriem. Very relaxing setting with infinte pool with the backdrop of the desert and mountains. 

Cozy Lodge on beautiful location

We stayed for 2 nights at the start of our 15 day Namibian road trip, and we absolutely loved it.  The lodge was beautiful, well furnished, spacious and comfortable.  The lodges, restaurant and pool have a great outlook over the distant mountains, and it was lovely to see Warthogs and Oryx wandering around.  Food was delicious and the staff were lovely!

Wonderful place to spend our first 2 nights in Namibia

1 night stay at Agama Lodge

My wife and I had a memorable weekend at Agama Lodge.  Being set slightly away from Sossusvlei, Agama Lodge is more peaceful and relaxing and we could appreciate the tranquility of the desert.  The room we had was perfect and comfortable, the pool area is ideal to take a relaxing break and the staff were all very helpful and friendly.  We took the day tour to Sossusvlei and can highly recommend it - insider knowledge allowed us to appreciate and learn about the environment beyond the main sights.

The only sad thing?  That we had to leave so soon!  Highly recommended.

Wonderful desert weekend retreat

We loved every minute. The lodge is wonderful, the staff are sensational. We will definitely come back again.

The pool was superb, and a nice place to calm down. The quality of the food was something to remember. 

We can only recommend it to everybody.

Perfect place

We stayed 2 nights at the Agama Lodge at the start of a 12 day tour of Namibia, and it was a great start to our tour. The lodge was beautiful, and it was great to see Warthogs and Oryx close to the pool area. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable. We even celebrated our anniversary in the sky bed with canapes and a bottle of bubbly, though it did get a bit too windy and we had to retire to our bedroom. Dinners and breakfasts were good and plentiful with grilled game meats and fresh salads. 

Great start to our tour

Beautiful rooms, oryx and warthogs roaming freely around.  Clean, decent food and the best stargazing off of the roof top beds … slept there a whole night and amazing experience!  You have to go here , well done Agama !!

Great lodge!  Excellent!!

We were a family of 5 (3 young children) using Agama as our basecamp to visit Sossusvlei. We couldn’t be more happy with this decision. The location is not next to the “attractions” however it is easily reachable driving the rental 4x4. This distance gave us the sense of isolation and peace. We had a chance to join an Agama organized trip/sundowner as well. Also here we couldn’t have been spending our hour any better: our kids loved it. The meals and the food was also quite good. I wish to be back here some day.
