Great hospitality and beautiful images!
All the staff was very friendly and willing to serve. The ryad was very cozy with beautiful big yard.
The food was traditional and very tasty...

Very nice beautiful

We were looked after so well! Superb hospitality, comfy bed, warm room (for January) and clean facilities. Marsi went out his way to make sure our stay was great and really looked after us. We loved it here and the kind and generous staff, thank you, we will definitely be coming back! 5*!

Fantastic hotel with service that goes above and beyond what you would expect. Very friendly and family oriented staff that make you feel as if you are staying with relatives. An Authentic Sahara Experience

Absolutely the most interesting experience in Morocco. Mohamed - the owner of Rijad is really friendly and funny. His home is your home. He know everything about desert and arrange all possible activities ther for good price. Enjoy it!!!

Best place in Merzouga

First of all i would like to say thanks to my host Mohamed for the warmest of welcome, if you visit the sahara only stay at planet sahara,location is great and really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. Thanks again for a 5 star service will see you again soon,

Planet sahara, amazing traditional Sahara experience, go camel trekking into the magnificent red dunes and sleep in the desert camp under the twinkling stars. Good times in merzouga thank you mohamed.

This place got us really surprised in a positive way. So welcoming and happy staff who will do everything to help you feel like home. Mohammed was a great host and even did a private tour with us with his jeep. The night in the desert was amazing and worth every penny. This was the highlight of our trip and we are sorry we didnt have more time to stay there.

Amazing place and people

Mohamed and his staff are top hosts from A to Z. They made us feel so comfortable with everything starting from great food on to an amazing room and of course all the fascinating activities.
Their company is so relaxed, authentic and natural that we had a truly amazing stay. I couldn‘t have asked for more. Thank you, Mohamed! I hope to be back one day.

Home from home

DO NOT STAY HERE. I’d give this a zero if I could.

Mohamed the owner does absolutely nothing and tries to charge as much as possible. He’s a liar and a thief. Some examples:

1) He charged us 40 Euros for a 7-minute car trip to the closest dune, claiming he was taking us on a tour of the desert. This was bargained down from 60...After the “trip” he told us we shouldn’t care because money means less to us than him because we are westerners.

2) We routinely had no water in the whole establishment (taps, showers, etc.). Rather than have a backup like other places he just told us to deal with it because that’s the desert lifestyle and they live like that.

His attitude is appalling. We are two young Australian guys and we’ve traveled a lot, and never experienced anything like this. There are so many other options in Merzouga. Choose one of them.
