Beautiful property in great location to shops and restaurants nearby! We enjoyed our 2nd trip to Tulum, staying at Ahau. The ground level, ocean front property is what made this stay so special. Drinking coffee on the front porch, watching the sunrise was the perfect start to each day, followed by a nice walk along the beach. Appreciate how attentive the staff is to maintaining the beach area and clearing out the seaweed as opposed to other properties nearby. Having the reserved lounge chair with the room was such a nice perk as well! Breakfast was a highlight of each day with the warmth and hospitality that Sergio and Fernando brought to each meal. Their attention to detail and kindness with special requests was greatly appreciated! Only complaint about this property is there are not any options to escape the noise and find anything remotely quiet between the DJs playing at the property throughout afternoon and then bass from nearby beach clubs that go well into early hours of morning. Would not recommend this spot to any light sleepers!
