Had an amazing, exquisite one-day women's retreat at Sagrada. It truly is a sacred land and center for healing. We had delicious vegetarian food, including chiles en nogada for dinner, a specialty here. Yoga, sound healing w/ gong, sauna, massage, copal cleansing by a shaman, tea ceremony and music preceded by foot bath, bon fire with singing. It was deep and magical and a bonding experience with women I had just met that day. My two friends and I loved our time there, deeply touched us. It is a deeply healing and restorative place to relax, either as a solo guest who wants rejuvenation, or for a family gathering, or a group retreat, or wedding.  Ryan's attention to detail shows his love and passion for Sagrada and makes it an unforgettable experience for each visitor. Highly recommend!!

Exquisite Experience

this beautiful and thoughtfully designed retreat space is located about 20 minutes from San miguel de Allende. It is absolute heaven. You are taken care of the moment you step onto the property. You breathe in fresh air and lean into excellent design and total zen. The sauna building is made of stone and is a few hundred years old. the cold plunge pool next to it kept me occupied for hours. i have stayed here a few times when i need to experience quiet and take a moment away from my normla life. I have felt re-invigorated each time. Kind staff, deep beauty of nature and gardens that have been revitalized by a master gardener. Some of the cacti are hundreds of years old.This place has a new owner and he has really made it so specil. highly recommended!!!!

Oh my goodness, This place is heaven...

We stayed for a week! We rented out ALL of Sagrada because of the recommendations we had received. Our group had a fantastic, relaxing time! The grounds are incredible, the facilities are clean, comfortable and AMAZING! You can lounge, hike or relax on the great, front porch. An added bonus is Max, the friendliest dog ever and Sagrada Ambassador. Without a doubt however is Beatrice. We asked for her to stay the week and cook for us and her cooking was FANTASTIC! Always ready on time and the food was the best we had while in San Miguel! We will stay again and hope that Beatrice can join us again as well. If you decide to stay, I know you will enjoy it!

What an Amazing Place!

I loved my time at Sagrada. I went to a four day retreat over President's Day weekend and it was the perfect length of time to unwind and disconnect. Each day we did yoga, hiked and participated in a mindfulness/meditation exercise. Aaron, our group leader, is relatable, kind and inviting, as is the entire staff and owners. The food is great and there is plenty of it! There is some downtime in the middle of the day that is perfect for reading, reflecting or laying by the pool. Our group consisted of 10-15 people and the individuals were awesome; we had a blast getting to know each other and the companionship enhanced the experience. I highly recommend Sagrada for anyone looking to unwind and take some time for his/herself!

Great Retreat!

I had a beautiful and peaceful experience at Sagrada.  It’s up in the mountains, so away from the bustle of San Miguel but close enough to visit the town center with a 20 minute drive.  I went with a group for a retreat and did not want to leave at the end of the week.  The staff is cheerful and accommodating.  The rooms are clean with a lot of charm.  The landscape is breathtaking.  

Excellent 

I stayed at Sagrada for a week while on a retreat. The grounds are lovely, the food was fantastic, and San Miguel de Allende is a short drive away. The rooms are clean and quiet. The owner Shane and his staff went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Wifi and cell access can be uneven, but the sunsets are far more interesting than email! A great place to hike, relax, and be close to nature. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Perfect retreat spot

This was the most beautiful place you could imagine.  The staff was professional, kind & a wealth of knowledge.  It was incredibly peaceful.

Amazing place

We had an amazing time staying at Hotel Sagrada. It's outside the city and a bit in the middle of nowhere, but once you are there, it is a nice escape with beautiful views. The two staff people there were amazing. Their "guard" dog became our best friend. Staff made us breakfast every morning, and dinner when we asked. They prepared a special sauna for us which was lovely. They even had masseuses come to the hotel when we requested. We would stay there again without hesitation. The cab fare to the city isn't that much (~$13-14). I hope this hotel stays open forever.

Wonderful and Romantic

My college-age son and I stayed for four days/three nights. We stayed in Casa Romantica, which has two separate sleeping spaces, as well as a full kitchen and living room. The property is in a beautiful area outside of central SMA, and the property itself is stunningly landscaped. Many acres. It's on a hillside with great views, and you can walk up higher for even better views. It's quiet, relaxing. The owners were not there during our stay, and the hot tub was out of order. However, Beatriz cooked us six meals while we were there, and wine and beer were available. I do advise bringing snacks with you if you want them. We did partake of the sauna, and the water we poured over the rocks was infused with orange slices, kumquats, rosemary, bay leaves, and mint that Beatriz had just picked. The road getting to the property is a bit of an adventure, but it is well-marked with signs. A taxi from town costs $10 (well worth it) and comes quickly when called to take you back into town. I was also able to get Uber for $5 (I tipped high though), and arranged for that same Uber driver to come fetch us the next day. The owner was very communicative before and during our stay, responding to any questions and needs. All-in-all a great experience.
