3rd time staying there in my 5-10 day visits to Ixmiquilpan. My go to place! My first kudos is for Gerardo who reminded me why I keep coming back…. I had made the reservation earlier in the week and specified I needed a room with AC unit. They had me assigned to one with out. At check in, he immediately found me one with to correct the mistake; furthermore, he saw I had a car and he found me one that provided direct access to the car from the room! He ensured it was to my liking before handing the keys over. Gerardo is also extremely personable, helpful by assisting me with our heavy luggage and offering his help for anything overnight and excellent customer Service skills.  

The rooms themselves aren’t anything fancy, but they are comfortable, clean and offer daily housekeeping. As many hotels as I visit that is no longer a standard amenity. 

Especially grateful to Melissa and Juana from the restaurant for accommodating our special seating requirements, needs and requests throughout this weeklong stay. The food was delicious and had excellent presentation, even better than some I’ve seen over here. See pics! 

Don’t want to leave out the daytime clerks, Edith and Eduardo in front desk always willing to help with my mother-in-law and my needs. 

This place may be more expensive than any of the others surrounding it, but having the restaurant there, feeling secure with hotel main entry and car garage access locked after 11 is priceless and if you’re like me, this is the only one in the area that has a few rooms with functioning AC units. 

Can’t recommend this hotel enough!
