True hospitality on local island begins and ends with the person who takes care of you. Suvaasa is blessed enough to have Fernando (don't let yourself get mistaken he is maldivian and uses this nickname) who makes your stay memorable, fascinating, easy, funny, musical and many more. We went to picnic island where we had a fish caught on the spot. What a great experience ...in the middle of nowhere fishing, snorkelling then having a barbecue grouper... We went for fishing trip the other day, traditional line fishing, very funny and after the trip the traditinal garudhiya was prepared of caught tuna. We enjoyed together maldivian music also bodu beru with Fernando simultaneously drumming. It was only 4 days but it felt like much more. Fernando's family prepared all meals for me, local style, homemade, I can't praise them enough for true maldivian taste. I can compare, I've been to 15+ islands but food here is the best. From mashuni to garudhiya, from kulhimas to kirugarudhiya, everything perfect. The accomodation is simple but clean and if you need anything Fernando is on watsapp. The beach is great, I had it just for myself, the ocean os clean so is beach and the thundi gives it a specific feeling. Snorkelling is from the shore and keeps you occupied for hours. I hope I can make it there again next year cause local islands like this are slowly dissapearing due to a mass tourism. Fernando, thanks again and see you brother, Inshallah.

Go local!

We were in Suvaasa for 10 days. It is a beautiful island in the paradise . Perfect place where to rest and make snorkeling or stay in the beach. The more terrible place in the earth if you search disco and alcoholic party :))
Frankly speaking the place is nice, the guesthouse is very good, the owner (Fernando) has got a perfect behavior and able to manage your requests.
The worse problems are: 1h30 by speed boat and the “treat of the garbadge from the local people “ …. They still have to learn that the ocean is not a trash bin …. But they are becoming better :)))

Anyway I hope to come back :))

First trip to Maldives:)

Absolutely wonderful place with excellent sea view location . All the places in the island are within walking distance . Owner ( Fernando Areef )  is with a very gentle character of hospitality and entertaining . A true sample of great hospitality . 

People in the island are very friendly and helpful . It’s a small island with beautiful beach . 

Thank you for making our stay pleasurable. Would love to go there more .

Eid Holidays

We stayed in Maldives for about 6 days - the first night we've tried a 5 stars resort and after 2 days there we wanted to explore the real Maldive so we took the boat and change the island. The staff of this resort recommended us Digurah island. We book here for 2 nights but with the idea to extend our staying. An Italian women who was living here for 4 years told us to go to Kunburudhoo- so we did so!
This little island with a shape of a fish has also an enchanting barrier reef. It's one of the best place we experienced in Maldive. Has only one guest house, Suvaasa Inn and we were so happy about it. The place is so clean, Areef the owner of this place is a really special person. We arrived about 5pm right in time to go out fishing with the boat with them. We find ourselves with the boat in the middle of bioluminescent plankton that makes the ocean glow in the night like stars-I feel so blessed to have this beautiful experience. After that Areef prepared the dinner for us based of grilled fish, local salad and deserts made by his family. The day after we enjoyed the amazing beach and snorkelling all the day. I truly recommend  you this place and this person. We will turn back here for sure. Thanks Areef for the beautiful moments!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!

When we arrived in this island we were so impressed how beautiful it is . Our guesthouse was Suvaasa Inn , it  is fantastic ,clean ,comfortable place where you really can relax and be happy. The owner of the guesthouse is Areef, he is so hospitable ,kind and did all his best in everything that we needed. He also prepared very delicious and various food ,sometimes it was Italian because he know many Italian recipes cause he worked in Italy for some years. The coral reef and the snorkelling in Kunburudhoo was fantastic and unforgetable  ,the crystal water and the snow-white  sand and the beach are unique. Suvaasa inn is a real Maldivian paradise ! The real Paradise!

Suvaasa Inn comes with high quality small scale accommodation and personal service. It's restaurant offers creative and delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Areef, the owner, is a pleasant guy who will do everything possible to make his guest's stay unforgettable. The beautiful blue sea is nearby, in all directions, the starry nightskies amazing. I will return!

Paradise in the tropics

Suvaasa Inn with his quality and location is a great choice to stay.
Great island and people. Very good food. And snorkeling in front of the guest house.
The owner Areef speaks also Italian and he is very helpful and friendly.
Around the island you can find small and desert islands, Areef has nice friends you can hire to get there. 
I hope to come back soon.
