Stayed at standard queen without window. Room is clean with attached bathroom. Very basic amneties. For me only downside is thin wall, not recommend for light sleeper. Otherwise, worth for budget stay around that area.

Clean budget stay

If you're on a budget and looking for a clean spot in Kuching (with your own bathroom and TV), Dream City is a pretty good choice. 
It's a bit of a walk from the main tourist part of Kuching, but I spent a day looking at accommodations of a similar price and often was disappointed. Dream City is one of the better places in terms of room comfort and cleanliness. The walls are a bit thin but there were no noise issues during my stay. (I had no trouble sleeping.)
The lobby is well lit and has snacks and drinks to buy and the staff are always there to ask questions. (Next day Laundry Service is 5RM per kg)

Clean Rooms for a Good Price

Booked into the room to find the bed sheet littered with hairs and ants. It was changed on request. The room was not cleaned on the second day, to find out that the key needs to be deposited in the reception for the staff to clean the room and replendish two bottles of drinking water. The evening staff was vaping downstairs, the aroma could be smelt in the rooms upstairs, some may not like it. Otherwise the stay is pleasant. This room was booked via agoda.com.

Have to be Critical for a Better Stay

Hotel with wifi only on ground floor not on room very disappointing. Found out room without towel , when ask for a towel they say sent laundry.  I was utterly shocked at how rude and unhelpful the staff. A bad stay here even for single night.
