I stayed with Jen's homestay already several times and I can say that the place is maintained really excellent. In all these years we observed that all the things are working well, place is spotless and clean when arrived, all is provided and everything is smooth with the communication with Jen. As I have a friend in the same building this is a super win. I like to come to this place it has all the facilities we need, place has a nice brigh vibe to it and also provides a great view over the Kuala Terengganu. We feel we have a home there.

A quality that is preserved through the years

The apartament is beautiful and very close to the Bus station. On the 14th floor so it is fresh. Jen and Patrick have been so nice and helpfull to us. We come Gere with two little babys and that solution fit perfect to us

Excellent and friendly

This was my second time I stayed with Jen's place. Now I saw another appartment and we also enjoyed our stay there. Place is very clean, provides also a great view over the Kuala Terangganu. We entered the place as instructed on owner's SMS. Later in the evening she also came to visit us and to give us a welcome gift which was very tasty Malaysian bread, pastry which we ate for our breakfast the next day. Place provides air-con, very good quality Wi-Fi, TV and hot shower. They take very good of this place and it might be that is better option than any hotel in KT. I also have located a friend n this very same building so there is nothing to think about when choosing where to stay. There is also a small Chinesse temple at the bottom of the building and also a lovely friendly small caffe from Mrs. Get Ming Lim. Also a food market and morning market is just there. Great place. We will come again :).

My return back to Jen's Homestay

We've stayed here a couple of times and been very happy. Easy walking distance to Chinatown, the waterfront and the central market - plenty of good food nearby. It's in a big block of flats, so more of a local experience than a hotel. The rooms are nothing fancy, but very clean, comfortable and quiet. Jen and Patrick gave us lots of local info, and were easy to communicate with. If we come back to KT, we will stay here again.

Cheap clean and comfortable

Jen is a very pleasant lady who really thoroughly introduced us the property and also with all heart and enthusiasm introduced all the local highlights of Kuala Terrenganu and more. She also suggested us some restaurants which are really, really good. I had a friend (permanent resident) located in this very same building and this was pure luck that we picked Jen's place. Place is located very close to the Chinnese street and some local sights you can do on foot. I have a feeling that Kuala Terranganu is very friendly city and will come again just coz of that.
We were extremely satisfied with cleanliness of the room and common area. Internet was working superb and we also had a private bahroom that was very clean. Bed was of good quality and I had a good sleep. I saw that they take good care for this place as also A/C was totally clean and not dusty at all. Jen is an excellent host and I'm looking forward to come again to KT and to stay with Jen's place.

A place that I will return again

Easy to check in, called in last minute for a stay. Easy to talk to communicate with staff on phone. Its good location. Very clean and fresh, feels very new. Big fridge. Can do laundray for free. Recommend it! 

Perfect 

Very friendly hosts, taking time to explain everything about the apartment, restaurants location, local food etc.
They arranged pick-up from airport to the apartment on arrival, and also the transfer to ferry terminal. 
There is also a morning market just next to the building.

Friendly hosts, simple and functional rooms

We loved our stay so much that we extended! The location is great as it is directly next to Chinatown and the harbour. Even though you are depended on your arrival time, everything worked out perfectly and the owner are super nice and help with everything (they also gave us traditional local food as a present). Moreover, it was the cleanest apartement/room in my whole Asia trip so far (and I am already 7 weeks on journey).

Great location, perfect owner, clean room

We stayed a night in Monroe guestroom whilst on transit to Redang island. The apartment block may not be new and looks unattractive. However, don't let that deter you. The apartment at the 14th floor is well maintained. Our room with an ensuite bathroom was clean and comfy. We were provided with drinking water, coffee making facilities, towels, TV; and the bath came with hand-held shower with good water pressure, shampoo and shower liquid dispensers. The apartment is ideally located near amenities, less than 5 minutes' walk to Chinatown (Kg Cina) and approximately 15 minutes' walk to Shahbandar jetty terminal. In the mornings, there is a small market close to the apartment block. We would not hesitate to stay at Jen Homestay again.
