If you have any plans of sleeping, avoid it altogether. Music blasting from all around well after midnight, tents so crammed together people are constantly walking past your trying-to-sleep self chit chatting, cars driving in and out at 1am. Reception closed at night, so there's no one to monitor that the no noise after 11 pm. policy is in place, nor provide earplugs, at least. 
Otherwise the facilities are well-maintained. The location was also good enough for me, around a 10 min walk from the centre of Nida. So, if you need a campsite for other reasons than sleeping, this is a place to go. If you would like to catch a wink, though, I would choose elsewhere.

Rather not

We were here for few days on August 27-29.  A quiet, clean and beautiful place surrounded by pine forest. Close to the sea, about 15 minutes for a walk and with bicycle about 8 minutes. We will be back. Thanks.

Very good

The location of the camping is relatively good if you want to go both to the beach and the city, they are both about 15 minutes away on foot. The biggest dune with the sundial is just uphill from there and has an amazing view. I slept really well, had no problems with noise and was happy with the common bathroom and shower. The best thing was that we arrived on the busiest day of the year and it still seemed like they always have room for anyone even if all the other places are occupied. Bring your tent or sleep in your car, whatever to make your sleep the most comfortable under the pinetrees and fresh air.

Fresh air and camping next to the dunes.

I visit Nida camping several times during the season and keep coming back, as it is really nice place to stay. You are surounded by a beautiful forest, the location is in the middle between the sea and the center of the town, it has nice and tidy showers and all the other facilities you would need while camping or touring, doesn't matter you are with a tent or camper, on a bike, motorcycle or with a car. It has a kichen where you can cook your on meal and a restaurant where you can have it cooked. Also, it is the cheapest way to stay in Nida, as the rooms are really expensive.

Nature touch

We stayed here for one night and were happy enough with the facilities. We had room number 2 which had a balcony as an upgrade and glad we did as it was a great place to sit as it had the sun all day. There are bbq's which you can rent in a daily basis. It was quiet when we went so there were no campers or anything like that around so I'm afraid I have no comment on that. It was a little far from the town centre for my liking but pleasant enough.

Just another big crowded campsite. Clean and OK but very impersonal. We stayed there because it gave the only possibility to camp in Nida (there is no other campsite and wild camping is forbidden in the protected region)  

We arrived in Nida hoping to find a hostel room but were told that only the "Nidos Kampinas" had still places for travellers. So we tried to call them and a lady answered. 
So I started the conversation and asked if they indeed still had tents spots, and she said "Only German, no English" and... hung up on me!

We decided to walk there (20minutes away from the actual village of Nida) to see for ourselves and arrived at the reception and saw that pretty rude fat blonde lady that would still refuse to talk to us because we could not speak German (or Russian). After insisting a bit, she gave us a tent spot and... all the information we needed in English. It clearly did bother to help us out because we were not Lithuanian or german speakers.

So anyway we went to find a spot and actually found out this "camping" was just a gigantic chaotic patchwork of tents, cars and whatnot, all on a dirty sandy ground. 
After being installed, we walked around a bit and it started to rain loads. We came back to the camping finding out all of the tent spots were flooded including ours. Our stuffs were a bit wet and dirty, we tried to clean them but to wash your clothes, you have to pay six euros to get the access to one ancient washing machine and a pretty much pre-historic dryer, that's all they have for like at least 400 campers.

With the rain coming, the dirtiness followed, everything was full of mud: the kitchen (including the tables somehow), the toilets (which stank more than anything I had ever smelled in my life) and the showers.
Showers which have no actual doors, so I hope you enjoy staring at old people's naked butts.

I guess if the weather is "nice" (which does not happen often in that very part of Lithuania) I guess you could have a nice stay, but everything was so freaking disgusting it was properly awful, the staff clearly does not give a damn about the campers and prefer to focus on the few people renting flats and bungalows. 

The camping itself is also pretty noisy, full of youth that drink till late and scream all night long, of course there is no evidence of staff doing anything, so they just carry on and on and on. Well at least, they had a good stay.

I would avoid this camping place at any cost, the only positive points being its closeness to the beach and to the nice dunes. That's about it.
