I have no complaints about the accommodation itself, in fact good value for money paid. My concern is there were a lot of mosquitoes and I feel a insect spray should have been provided for the room, I was bitten, my child was bitten and my wife also. Did not sleep whole night. The security guard gave us a good service and even found out where the American Embassy for us since we did not have a clue.

Had an enjoyable two nights at the village court guest house. Courteous staff..warmly reception and stay..
Arriving shortly before midnight from South Africa..i was met with a lively 24hour front desk..doing all they could to make feel at home in that cold weather....

Enjoyable Stay at Village Court

In the northern area of Maseru, around 7 km from the city center, you will find The Village Court. This guesthouse offers spacious, nice rooms for a good price. We got the opportunity to choose between a triple room and a quadruple room, both for 400 RAND. Towels, soap and body wash were provided. We also had a TV in our room, a big closet, a cute balcony, an electric blanket and in-room WiFi. Downstairs is a communal kitchen, it is modern and spacious and offers everything you need to cook a great meal. We were almost (or perhaps really) the only guests, so we had the entire house to ourselves. In 15 minutes, you're in the city centre, yet this place offers some peace of mind. Safe, free parking is offered behind a gate and a guard is active on the premises so you won't have to worry about your car. The manager is friendly and helpful and provided us with an useful map of Lesotho. The rest of the staff was also really friendly. One of our door locks of our car broke during our stay and the staff was really helpful looking for a solution. Good place to stay, wonderful service, great value for your money. Only downside to the room was the white curtains, so we were woken up by the sun early every morning. Apart from that, great place. Recommended.

Recommended!

We were sent / referred to Village Court by a negligent establishment that had failed to honour our booking.  We arrived in the middle of the night simply to sleep for a night. This place had NO payment facilities at that late hour, but luckily we had cash. The first room we were allocated, the basin tap was broken. We were then offered another "similar" room. This one had aged bedding with a duvet that was evidently old because it was pilling and sheets with spme tears in them. There was also no bin in the room to throw away anything. 

Perhaps with better warning, their services are more decent than our emergency landing experience.

Terrible service.very rude,disrespectful Receiptionist, unprofessional as well,drinking alcohol during working hours.He had no mask on,they dont adhere to covid 19 regulations.wouldnt recommend that place.
