I'm paying 50,000 Kip (about 5 USD) for my own  room with a kingsize bed and a bathroom, TV and wardrobe. They don't clean the room while you're staying there if you don't ask them to but I just ask them every few days and then it's nice  and clean. Sometimes some things are broken. My sink for example is a bit shattered but  honestly I don't mind. The bed is super comfy and the  blankets are nice and warm. I'm staying  here for a long time (one month) and the receptionist wasn't so smiley with me in the beginning but since she knows me a little better she's very, very friendly and nice. She let me use her private fridge once or twice and we sometimes chat for a  bit.
The GH is only open from 6am to 11:30pm. If you arrive later she will let you in without complaining. You just have to ring the bell to wake her up.
There's always free hot and cold drinking water!
The Wi-Fi is great in almost all rooms. 
I would recommend anyone to stay who's looking for a private room for a good price!

Pros: rooms are cheap, clean and they have a bathroom 
Although the owner is not really what you would call a ray of sunshine... But having said that he did let us leave our backpacks while we were on a 2-day trek, so that was very nice of him.
Cons: the second time we stayed we found a massive cockroach in our room. But apart from that the room was good and seemed clean and fine, I'd stay there again. If you want a basic and fine accommodation then that's the place for you

Simple but you get what you pay for!

Basic and cheap rooms

The biggest advantage of this place is the price, 60000 kip for double room. Don't expect much for that money. It's not comfortable, but if you need just place to sleep after the long day of trekking and you don't want to spend too much, it would be ok.

Cheap place to stay one, two nights

Not recommended, the cheapest in town for a reason. Go somewhere else.

Did the three days 2 nights with them. The owner told me that would have been 1 night in An homestay and the other in the jungle but that I would have met different tribes in different villages ( I was more interested in seeing tribes than in the jungle itself). I trusted him. The guide couldn’t speak english at all, only a basic french. no communication, he was an old experience man and I am sure he knows what he does, but the funny part was 0. After the first day my tour mates left because one of them had a wound I continued by myself with the guide. Asked him to skip the jungle camp and to go some other homestay because I wanted to see the life in the villages. He told me yes but actually brought me to a small village with NOONE, just me and him and an a aged man in his home. We stayed in this place doing nothing since 2 pm to the day after. We had to sleep together ( same “bed”) this hut in a desert village. I was a little bit uncomfortable. 

Didn’t like the lack of communication, basically I did nothing for half of my “tour”. The day after I told him that I wanted to come back quickly and I left. 

The food, the homestay experience, the Activities...all was reduced at the minimun. Didn’t see any tribe and I had to sleep in the middle of nowhere, alone, with the guide, doing nothing for one entire day. 

NOT RECOMMENDED. Spend a little bit more but give yourself a nice experience.

Don’t book tours with them!!

Yitzik Never inform when a group won't go to the trek, you find yourself in the middle of the street after checking out ready for the trek. It was cancelled

He asked me if I payed for the room alright for the night. The day before we talked and I signed the paper confirming im at another hostel.
How dare he asking idiotic question like that. Murmuring when needs to give info

Unprofessional and phoney period
Never putting any effort to make sure I'll go to a trek with anyone else
Not that any of the other agencies are fair, they also lie about the price, but this made my special arrival for luang namtha the worst.

Crappy trekking agency

Horrible.old smelly dirty rooms.(hairs+stains on sheets)
One bed broken,could see the holes through sheets!
When asking about something to do with the bed, receptionist first left,then shouted at me,then even raised his hand as to hit a table.
Scary person to be avoided.
Just like his place. Avoid it!
Much better places in this lovely town!
