Hotel New Takahashi Takezono

I had an excellent stay in my non-smoking western style room. The hotel is well located, within walking distances to the International congress center (5 mins), groceries stores and restaurants (2 mins) and the Tsukuba train station (15 mins). The staff is very helpful, although the quality of the English vary between staff members. The rooms are small (japanese size), but very clean, with Japanese pyjamas and green tea provided. You may hear a little noise when people are using the corridor. Wireless Internet service is provided in all the locations (lobby + rooms), although the quality of the signal in rooms would vary depending on the time. I did not test their restaurant as I would eat outside or store food in the room refrigerator. It seems that some rooms have extra shelves and storing place (for example for the TV), so it may be a good idea to confirm for it, else you may find the TV on your already small desk. This hotel doesn't provide luxurious services but what they provide is more enough for a nice stay, with a great value compared to the nearby hotel around the congress center. In overall I was very satisfied by this hotel.
