Sato san's Rest - Hostel

Currently here for a 3-day stay in Tokyo and for a traveler who have stayed in hotels of all price ranges and airbnb’s, and first time to be lodged in a hostel-type setting, I am impressed with it. Ran by husband and wife team, Yuta and Nana, they are a very friendly, helpful and accomodating host and hostess. Nana, who received us on our first day, explained to us house rules as is beffitting of a Japanese home and I found such rules very reasonable and not too difficult to follow. Although the common areas are not large by any standard, cleanliness and orderliness are readily observable. My nephew booked a private room with a fairly wide space for both of us and the beds are quite comfortable. Two clean shower areas and two toilets are available for the residents to use with shampoo and soap provided for the guests. Two wash stations, one on each floor, is also available. All in all, this is a very comfortable and a very nice place to stay while in the downtown Tokyo area.
