APA Hotel TKP Sapporo Station North Entrance Excellent

The interior design of the lobby looks nice, but the room are old. Cleanliness need to be improved, Onsen on the 9th floor water pressure so weak. Walkable to Sapporo JR station about 10 min. I don’t feel so welcome in this hotel. Japanese hospitality is not there. 

Apa Hotel TKP Sapporo Eki Kitaguchi 

I stayed here for one night for a business travel. The venue is located a bit further away from the hustle bustle but is accessible. It’s 5min walk from the JR Sapporo station and 2min walk outdoors if you use the underground path and take exit 13. While the location is more residential and quiet. There is a convenience store just around the corner and many restaurants in walking distance towards the station. 
The room was one of the smallest I stayed. It’s so small if I open my suitcase I cannot open the room door.  The double size bed occupied about half of the room but it was very cozy bed. The hotel was one of the least expensive options in the area. One downside was that they didn’t have iron and ironing board but only the trousers’ press. 
Overall this is a good place to stay if you want to get away from the noise on the main area but still want to be close to the station or Hokkaido Uni.

Comfortable bed in a very tiny room with limited amenities

Very close to Sapporo station but on the slightly quieter side of town. Small clean rooms with private shower room. Staff friendly. Construction about to begin next door so if you’re a late sleeper you might want to check it’s finished.

Excellent location

I am currently staying here in APA and am extremely disappointed. Firstly I have paid $AU 300 per night booked 8 month ago. I could have walked in off the street for half that price yesterday. 
The beds are hard and twin beds mean there is barely room to swing a cat. The bathroom is tiny. All bearable. What's not acceptable is the deep stench of cigarette smoke which in the bathroom is so cloying the door needs to be left open to use the room. Also frustrating is the refusal to supply 2 room keys.Considering one needs to be left in the wall to operate the lights etc in the room. Second person must go out without a key!! 
This is a very poor 2 star hotel charging exorbitant rates through booking .com. No happy Jan

Never Again

We stayed there this December 2018 and it was a good place.  Very near the Sapporo station (5 minute walk) with a Mall and also near the Loft where the Hobonichi planners are sold in Japan. There are two convenient stores on either side (see pics) and a Japanese chicken house where you can have good food is just 2 block away. The rooms are small as expected but clean and complete. They have free WiFi access and access to their spa. We weren’t particularly satisfied with the breakfast choices. The picture posted on the elevators showed seemingly lots of food choices but during the actual breakfast buffet they were only few choices. I’d still stay in this hotel because of its location and convenience. 

Good location 

The hotel is near to Sapporo JR station north exit or subway exit 12 (take escalator up from L- Plaza to ground floor).

We booked a triple room with 2 super single and a single beds for our family of 4. Child below 12 can share existing bed. 

Our 3 night stay include Chuo bus day trip to Asahiyama Zoo, Otaru & Shiroi Koibito/Odori Parks to enjoy the Xmas illumination.

The top floor has indoor and outdoor spa, coin laundry at 200 yen & dryer at 100yen. Neighbouring shops include 24hr family mart, Mos Burger. 

Good location & room size

I stayed in this hotel during one of my trips to Sapporo. Hotel is very close to the main train station (5-10mins walk from St Sapporo - North exit) as well as to the Hokkaido University (5 minutes walk). Many family Marts are near the hotel in case if you want to buy something. The hotel also has breakfast in the morning. My room was big with TV, water bottles, wifi and complete bath amenities, all clean.

Very nice hotel

I love to stay here and would definitely stay again if i'm back to Sapporo someday. the location was good, about 5-10mins walk from St Sapporo - North exit (find Doutor coffee). It is in the quieter side of Sapporo, close the university, there's subway station nearby. Our room is considered big for Japan standard with big TV, complete bath amenities, all clean. When i booked i found this cheaper than other APA hotel rate. You should put the green clean up on the door and they will reward you with mineral water. which I did.....i just didn't get to try their public bath facility, just saw the front door while doing laundry on the same floor.

Excellent hotel!

Location:
Hotel is located near the Sapporo Train Station, an approximate 10 minutes walk from north exit (towards bus terminal station). Walk straight along the road from the bus terminal and passed 4 traffic lights. The hotel will be located at your left side. Along the way, you can spot some conveniences store and restaurants. 

Staff:
Hotel staff were friendly and we checked in without hassle. However, we were not told that there is no air-condition in the room (not sure if this is whole year round or only during winter time) till we realised that the air-con button were substituted to heater instead.

Room:
The room was considered spacious for 3 and was fully equipped with amenities and a small cosy corner. Bathroom was small but this is the same across the APA hotel we've been to. Especially love the clean and comfy of the bed in the room. It stayed constant through other outlet as well 😊 Room was not equipped with air-con (window can’t be open), but the temperature will be gradually be lower during the night.

Overall, a nice and pleasant stay for a basic hotel.
