We stayed one night on our travels. This is also called a slow resort and used a lot for weddings. There are a few shops for example a delicatessen, bakery and pizzeria. There is a restaurant although we did not use as a wedding reception was taking place. Short drive away is a popular Sushi restaurant. 
There is a footpath which leads you to the beach approx 10-15 minutes away.

The room was large and spacious with shower and indoor/outdoor tub. A perfect venue to unwind especially after a long journey.

It was our first day of our 2-week trip to Kyushu and we chose this hotel for a 1 night stay because of its location so-so near the Fukuoka airport with a relaxing resort environment with private outdoor onsen in the room. Unfortunately the super typhoon just left the city but brought rain to it and we couldn't enjoy the outdoor onsen even though they have prepared a nice flowery bath for us. 

Despite the fact that we arrived late due to delayed flight, check in was smooth and dinner was served in the room immediately. Dinner and breakfast were Japanese cross over western with fresh and high quality food ingredients. The sake wine we of erred for dinner was made from the hotel and it was great too.

The only drawback of the room was that the curtains didn't go to the top of the high ceiling and thus we were woken up early by the sunlight. 

The hotel also has a garden, nice patisserie and restaurants but we only had the time to taste the pastries which were delicious.

Overall it was value for money for the suite we booked and we will definitely be back in future for a longer stay, hopefully in a better weather next time.
