well... the trip was nothing short of AMAZING. Jenna Jay made my trip easy and fun. She went the extra mile (literally) and drove me all the way to Moiwa from Niseko one day, because I missed the bus - what a champion!
As for the location, its right in the centre of town, exactly where you want to be.
And the beds are comfortable, rooms are clean and tidy.

Moorea Lodge made the perfect place to stay during my recent trip to the Niseko ski area. An affordable, friendly lodge in a great location. The lodge is right next to the bus stop for the Hirafu lift shuttle bus and is also within easy walking distance to a variety of shops and eateries.

In addition, the hosts Tony and Carmen were extremely welcoming, offering complimentary pickup & drop off upon arrival and departure, cooking breakfast each morning and we even ended skiing together on one day during my stay.

I’d highly recommend Moorea for those travelling alone and looking to meet others. I spent 3 weeks here over Xmas and would definitely consider returning again in the future.

Lodge managers, Carmen and Tony, have the knowledge and experience of well seasoned niseko locals. They are accommodating for travelers needs and are quick to solve lodge amenities issues as they arise. Can cook a decent breakfast. Lodge has everything you need and ample space for gear. Won't disappoint.

As a solo traveller, it was good to hear a familiar accent. The host Tony and Carmen picked me up from the welcome centre, though I could have easily walker to the lodge being a downhill. 

I booked this trip on a whim, did no real research, so they both gave me valuable advice of where to go, the best coffees and foods in town, to where the ATMs where. Hidden gems Guy bar aka the fridge door bar- Carmen recommended the Hot Apple Pie, a hot cocktail that tastes like the real thing, drink and dessert in one.

I didnt come with snow/ive appropriate shoes, so without hesitation, Carmen lent me some shoe chain. Its safe to say i didnt slip and fall walking around.

I had a chance to hit the slopes with both Carmen and Tony, and they showed a little route and got fresh powder a metre deep (although i got stuck) it was an amazing experience.

The location was great, midtown which was surrounded by restaurants and bars. Sacomart was up the road and the free shuttle bus stop was out in front. This was good as you just need to look out the window and see a bunch of people waiting and you knew the bus would need there soon, there was no need for me to wait out in the cold.

The amenities, lets face it you are not in a 5 star hotel, but for the price you are paying for, was very decent.
They had plenty of space on the dry room. Bathrooms were Japanese style.

I personally recommend Kobe-Tei up the road. Its expensive but worth treating yourself. They get quite busy so try to book a reservation online.

This place comes highly recommended by me and would not hesitate to come back.

Awesome time at this place, they really know how to cook delicious eggs in the morning! Very helpful to have pickup/drop off in the area upon arrival and departure from town. Beds are firm but so the trick. Lots of good food in the area. Would recommend.

This place is amazing. It has everything you need. What makes it so great though is the crew that run it. Super friendly and helpful. It has a cool vast demographic of people rolling through for the skiing so everyone is really friendly. it’s a nice safe environment. Nice little simple breakfast every morning with tasty scrambled eggs.

Great place to stay if you are looking for that unique hostel feel.The team running this place are very helpful and friendly

Awesome stay in Grand Hirafu Niseko at Moorea lodge. We got great advice on where to eat amongst all the great spots in Hirafu and there are many. The lodge is great central location to many awesome location. The staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfasts set us up for days of incredible powder skiing.

Stayed here for a week just recently and cannot recommend this place enough for its location, staff and facilities. Could walk to either base at Grand Hirafu within about 10 minutes. 

Staff were super friendly and would help with anything you wanted. Well worth staying in for one of the nights and get cooked for by the staff for a great price. It was a social lodge too with many people sitting in the common area of an evening which was a great sight.

A washing machine on the lower level is free to use if you have your own powder / liquid but if not staff will give you some for a small fee of 200 yen. Much cheaper then anywhere else.

Thanks for making our stay one to remember.

Very convenient location, building is a bit old but still provides all the amenities required. Staff pretty helpful and friendly.
