We spent one night here and found the hotel to be clean and comfortable, with good showers. It's also just a short walk from the train station. Breakfast was simple but nice. (We didn't have dinner at the hotel or try its onsen.)

Comfortable, clean stay

nice room, plenty of space for two persons, spotless, quiet.
excellent breakfast, wide variety and as always in japan, beautifully presented.
onsen too. accept this review as is or not at all. evening meal equally good.

recommend as a welcoming place

We stayed at this hotel before and after a week long cycle through Kyushu and found the hotel to be clean, comfortable and provided everything we needed.
The rooms are quite large, the beds are good, the staff are friendly and helpful although language can be a bit of a barrier for those like us who know only English.
The traditional restaurant was great fun and the food was good.
We didn't try the Onsen, massage or karaoke.
Breakfast was good with the Japanese lady making an effort to look after us.
The hotel was walking distance from the railway and bus station and lots of shopping options.
