I booked two days guiding with Toshi (the owner) in Asahidake and stayed at his lodge for two nights. The place is really clean, rooms are cosy and the decor is very tasteful. Breakfast was super tasty and on both nights I was taken out to dinner with the rest of the guided group and I must say they were most probably two of the most delicious meals I've had! Perfect for anyone looking for a quiet and authentic Japanese experience. Toshi is very friendly. I would recommend the lodge and his guiding to anyone. He also has a school and rental shop in the reception area of Hotel Bearmonte in Asahidake.
