Hotel is offering free breakfast. Hotel is nicely decorated, especially in the dining area and lobby. Room is nice. Staffs are friendly and healpful, able to communicate in English. Check in process is fast and easy.

Was a great hotel in a handy location and the added bonus of a free continental breakfast was amazing - great value for money

The staff was so friendly and helpful. They were willing to help us with so many little needs with directions and taxi travel.

We stayed 2 nights at the Comfort Hotel, which is only a few minutes walk from Hamamatsu Station.  The lobby and lounge area was bright and spacious.  Check-in was efficient, and the reception staff was professional and friendly.  We took Standard Twin  rooms, and there was ample space even with 2 pieces of luggage per person.  The room and bathroom were both very clean.  The beds, pillows, and sleepwear were all very comfortable.  The spacious desk and numerous USB charging ports were very helpful.  We used the self-serve laundromat, which was clean, easy to use, and efficient.  Good breakfast with sufficient choice.  Will recommend without hesitation.

Clean comfortable hotel in excellent location

Our stay at the Comfort Hotel in Hamamatsu was marked by excellent service and a clean, comfortable room.

Just a 5 minute walk from Hamamatsu Station, the Comfort Hotel is an excellent choice for those who want to stay close to city centre and major bus routes. The Hotel is also close to several shopping towers, restaurants, and grocery stores. 
 
Concierge staff are warm and welcoming. We arrived before the check-in time of 3:00pm, and they were able to hold our luggage securely until our room was ready. Staff do speak some English, and they were able to explain necessary details in a way that we could understand. To the right of the elevator is a shelf with one-size-fits-all sleep clothing; several laundry machines can be found on the second floor (though it can be confusing to decipher the Japanese-only instructions).

The room was basic, but contained everything necessary for an enjoyable stay. Our air conditioning unit was set to 25 degrees Celsius, but was able to be lowered. The beds are comfortable, and each bed has an outlet by the backboard. A simple closet, desk, TV, and fridge complete the room's amenities. The bathroom is functional, and, unlike some other Japanese hotels, have counter space to put toiletry bags or bottles. The shower has good pressure and responds quickly. There is plenty of storage for large suitcases, with room left over for other backpacks or shopping bags.

A board in the lobby with movable magnets and times - 7am-7:30am, 7:30am-8am, etc. - helps guests to gauge the business of the next day's breakfast. With plenty of seats, guests are likely to find a place to sit. Breakfast is on the simpler side, but still has basics such as coffee, pastries, and rice. Several coffee shops nearby are also available if the hotel breakfast is too bare-bones for you.

I woudl like to highlight the efforts of the concierge staff - upon finding out that one of our party's laptops were left in the room after checking out, we called the hotel and they were able to arrange for the delivery of laptop to our new hotel. Even as a non-Japanese speaking tourist, the process was hassle-free and the laptop arrived in under two days. 

We would wholeheartedly recommend the Comfort Hotel for any person or group looking for a hotel in a central location.
