I couldn't top up upon check-in but there is a convenience store just next to the inn (Familymart)
Hot water and microwave are available next to reception.
Coffee (machine) is available for just 100 yen. When I asked, the machine wasn't switched on yet. If you want to sip the coffee in the early morning, you may want to ask the owner the previous day so they can prepare accordingly. 

You can try a massage chair as well, it works when you put coins.  

No amenities at all except linen for futon.

You can buy soft drinks and canned beer including bottled coke.
Wi-fi is ok

It is kinda 24 hours entrance, although there is no one sitting at reception all the time. 

Although it is 15 minutes walking from the station, there is Familimart next to the inn.
Bamiyan, GUST, Ramen, Indian, Thai,,, many options nearby when it comes to food.
If you walk further, you will find Lawson (another convenience store) too.

I don't think pick up service is available but you can ask as I saw a van.
It is very difficult to get hold of them when you have something to ask after you book. They actually have a mobile phone and I called the number to ask some details but the person on the phone couldn't answer my question. (I am a native Japanese !)

Very simple inn

Disappointing as I had expected better for this inn. Staff spoke very little English and common bathroom

We stayed one night in this pension. The rooms are okay and kind of clean, but the hallways and stairs are smelly and filthy. The rooms are without bathroom and the shared bathroom with 2 onsen, but only 1 filled up and the water war pretty cold.The place just lacks any atmosphere and we didn't find the staff particularly friendly, The room comes with breakfast and we were forced to take the breakfast at 7.30!! Ridiculously early. When we came down the breakfast was already served on the table (probably already for at least an hour) because it was completely cold. So, cold baked salmon with rice for breakfast, you better skip that one.

Not the best option

We were the only guests staying here for the night and were given a room with no view even though I had requested a room of mount Fuji which we found strange.
We were on the 3rd floor and there is a bathroom on the ground floor only so it meant 3 flights of stairs in the middle of the night. The room was large but badly in need of a make over and the sheets and futons were full of stains.
On the plus side the owner will pick you up and drop you back at the station and the breakfast was good. There is a good supermarket up the road for pre packed meals etc.

Difinitely would go back there again soon.Traditional japanese hostel not new one but really clean and friendly environment.The japanese sharing bathroom and shared toilet was clean and neat.
The owner was very kind and helpful , He drove to pick up and drop us at the Kawaguchiko station e he can not speak English much but it's not problem at all. Served us with the good traditional japanese home made breakfast.
Our ryokan room style acceptable room size and facility came with observe Mt.Fuji view.I woukd recommended every one this a million dollar view of ryokan very really nice stay with great value for money.

A million dollar views hotel.

This is a very traditional Japanese mid range accommodation. The rooms are Japanese style with tatami mats, thin mattresses and pillows with shells (? Strangely comfortable though when you embrace them!) The rooms are large.

The bathrooms are gender separated. The 'onsen' is effectively not an onsen but a large bath. This is open for use daily 6-10pm. The only showers are open 7-9 and 6-10 and are the ones in the room with the onsen/bath, meaning bathing is not done privately. Being British, this made me apprehensive and anxious but whenever I was in there, no one else was. And it's all part of the Japan experience.

Breakfast is included. You can choose when I'll is cooked for you (up until 8:30). The first morning we had a traditional Japanese breakast as shown in the photos. This was good food which I would have loved for lunch or dinner. Again, being British, I found rice and salmon hard to stomach at 7:30am. The owners obviously noticed and the next two mornings provided a breakfast of pastries and fresh fruit, even though they served Japanese breakfasts to others. This was delicious and a very kind gesture!

Staff are very friendly and helpful, picking us up and taking us back to the station without hesitation. To arrange this, go into the Tourist Information at arrival to the station. The English speaking staff will call for you.

All in all, this place is a fraction of the cost of other nearby accommodation. It may be quite basic, but it's authentic and close to everything you want. I would recommend.

Unbeatable price for a basic but authentic stay

Stayed 2 nights at Resort Inn Fujihashi with my family from 29 - 31 Mar 2016. The room is in Japanese style tatami flooring with futon beds. There is a public gender segregated sento (just hot water, not natural mineral water that you get in onsen) within the Inn, where guest take their bath. It's only available for use (bath) from 1800 - 2200, and in the morning from 0630 to 0900, for shower only. The Inn is family run, and the owner is very friendly, but can't speak much English. They serve great Japanese style breakfast. Upon your at Kawaguchiko Station, just pop over to Tourist Information Office next door, and request the counter staff for assistance to contact the Inn owner to pick you up. On the day you check out, the owner will also send you back to the train station. Nearby the Inn, there is a big supermarket and a couple of restaurants. During our stay there, we rented bicycles from the bicycle rental shop near the train station and cycled around Lake Kawaguchiko. On fine day, one will be able to take in the splendid view of Mt Fuji from certain stretch of the lake. The con aspect being that there isn't any ensuite toilet, all guests share the common toilet. Also the distance to the Kawaguchko Station isn't 't exactly near, but is still manageable with about 15 mins walk. The room that we stayed is pretty bare and is quite old. The futon mattresses and blankets look like they need some cleaning.
