Great experience, great food, great entertainment, great dancing, great location, great selector. I highly recommend Bourbon Beach Bar for all your vacation needs. Lloyd and his staff promptly take care of their guests with wonderful personalities and smiles 😃 

Mmmmm Hmmm Bourban beach soon back❤️💛💚

I was recently at bourbon beach bar in Negril and was given bleach in my drink. No! This was no accident as the bartender admitted that the other bartender new what he was doing.  Tourism keeps these bars in business.  The owner offered free drinks and dinner because I became very ill. Nothing was done about the bartender who did this. A matter of fact, he was still working there the next day . 
Be very careful with what you order there.  I’ve been going to Negril for over 6 years and never experienced such a horrific experience.  I was told that Bourbon beach bar is under new ownership and this is how they treat tourists. 
I’m just making people aware . The police didn’t get involved as I was assured the incident would be taken care of.  I will never drink there again!! I’ll bring my own alcohol and drink on the beach to listen to the band.

After an extended closing bourbon beach has reopened. The chicken is still there but the reprice is beyond reasonable. No one is eating there anymore. The live music is a great addition BUT the videographer onstage with their bright light is so offensive and disrespectful to the audience. The use of a drone is also something that annoys everyone but the owner. The amount of people onstage continually is not only a distraction but unprofessional. Get it together and tighten up your performance .

Except for the music, our visit to Bourbon Beach was SO disappointing. No more magic behind the bar and the food, primarily jerk chicken & fries, which used to be our favorite on the beach, was terrible. My favorite place to hang in Negril, sadly NO MORE!

Bourbon Beach ~ so disappointed!

BB used to have the best jerk chicken on 7 mile beach, and good prices too. We went there yesterday, and I’m not sure how they ruined such a good thing in such a spectacular manner. The restaurant has been freshened up with new paint but if this is new management, bring back the old. You now have to place your order at a booth and get your own drinks from the bar (the bar and bartenders are still fabulous!) The rum punch recipe has changed, I far preferred it the old way.  Prices increased to $10 for a quarter chicken which includes one side. Extra sides are $3/each. Our party of 7 was charged $13 per person instead of $10. We were also told AFTER our meal that they don’t take credit cards.  They were out of rice and peas...how is that even possible! We waited over an hour for our food. They were out of white meat (they didn’t tell us that when we ordered)  so most of us got dark instead. Mine was dry, tough, and flavorless. NOTHING like it used to be, and we’ve been going here for 10 years. Several were given RAW chicken, bloody and slimy. My daughter got physically ill when she cut into hers. The server was very friendly and didn’t charge us for one of the raw chicken meals, although we were charged $3 extra times 7 for our “free” sides. NEVER AGAIN. Honestly the worst, most disgusting dining experience of my life. The chicken was HORRIBLE. If you’re out of chicken, just say so, don’t try to cook it while we wait. It takes hours to slow cook jerk chicken the right way. If you’re out of white meat, say so. If you don’t take credit cards, let people know when they’re ordering. We will never go to BB again, which is sad, it was one of our favorite lunch places on the beach.

Music during the day and live entertainment when the sun goes down. 
Their beach chairs are super comfy. Ask shabba for a cushion  if you fancy falling asleep in the sun ❤️They are currently renovating the entire place it’s going to be AMAZING

Firstly, TA totally got it wrong awarding this DUMP four stars. The reason for this is the duplicate reviews (one for the Hotel and another for Restaurant and Bar). While the food and nightlife gets ok (and sometimes hood reviews). Here is the scoop:  
1. I arrainged a ride from Mo Bay to Negril and BBH was a no show, infact their phone was out of order so we could not confirm anything.
2. The overall appearance of the hotel was ugly, dirty and smokey (from the indoor Jerk Pit).
3.  The crooked Front Desk / Manager lady attempted to double charge me first by charging me one day on my credit card after I already pre÷paid the hotel with Priceline. In addition, she wanted the other 4 days in cash as the credit card machine "didn"t work".This behavior gives Jamaicans a bad  name.
4. The room was disgusting, dirty, smelly and infested (so bad my 14 year old daughter had a meltdown). Btw, no door knob on front door. 
5. Also this place was infested with shady looking beach denizens who looked and acted threatening.
Suffice to say this place is an abortion never even think of staying there unless you want a terrible experience. 

The worst place to say in Jamaica

Great food but a little creepy, especially at night.  The chicken is great and the sauce is very good and can be purchased to take home with you.  We ate here 2 times during our week stay.  Be patient, sometimes you have to wait awhile to get your food.

What a fun place to hang out day or night. We hung out here a lot during our stay. The owner and his staff are top notch. Cant wait to come back !!! Right on the beach, great food, excellent music live and djs

We had a good time!  Stayed Wednesday to Sunday.  Lots of reviews I read mentioned no sleep before 2 AM due to the music.  I had no trouble sleeping after 2 LOL and if you are looking for a somewhat live location to stay this would suit you.  I am a super light sleeper so I did have issues sleeping after 6 AM.  UGH.  Lots of activity in the morning with hotel staff cleaning up and other random maintenance.  Whatever get up and hit the beach right?  Beach is nice, literally steps from the hotel and the awesome beach bar you can see in the pics.  Plenty of beach chairs all you had to do was ask,  The bar was nice and always helpful bartenders took good care of us.  450 JA for a Red Stripe is totally ludicrous so we would walk down to Sandy Haven for Reds at 250 JA.  Huge diff and for someone will drink 4 or 5 in an hour and possibly buy a round or two for others out of good fun.
The location is good.  Its closer to the cliffs and gives you the option to walk the entire beach and back, which I did daily to sweat out the night before's booze.  I love the cliffs as well so cab rides were quick and not to costly.  Good food as well.  The jerk chicken was good and the breakfast hardy.  Fast service for Jamaica thats for sure.  The staff was super friendly and polite.  No issues there at all.  Place is clean as well. 
I'm used to having a safe in my room but the hotel offered to store passports and any other items in the office safe which was nice.  
All in all biggest disappointment was no jet skis but beach was beautiful and the weather was perfect so no complaints.
I would go back!
