Il Grandangolo

If you have a car and do not want to be stuck in the congestion that is Bari Il Grandangolo is the place for you. It is located just 15 minutes outside Bari in the suburb of Valencano in a quiet residential neighborhood. There is plenty free and safe street parking so one does not have to stress to find parking even if you arrive later in the evening. The place has three bedrooms which are all upstairs. We had a very large bedroom with ensuite bathroom which was very clean and had a comfortable large bed. There was a small flat screen TV and minibar in the room which contained non alcoholic drinks at a moderate charge. The hosts, an elderly couple, was very nice and helpful with sightseeing tips. The room was cleaned daily. Breakfast was included and was well above average with coffee/tea to order, cold cuts, cheeses, fruit, fruit juices, toast, rolls, muffins, butter and marmalade. WiFi was pretty good, free and did reach into the room. Highly recommended!
