A Relaxing and Luxurious Solo Stay at a Grand Historic Hotel I had the pleasure of staying at the Gran Hotel Terme Sirmione and it was an exceptional five-star experience. As a solo traveler, I enjoyed every moment spent in this fine, grand old hotel. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the thermal baths and spa area, which I visited daily. I purchased a package that included superb treatments – massages, skin treatments, mud therapies, and special body scrubs – all delivered with excellent care and professionalism. Each treatment left me feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and well cared for. The hotel's restaurant, while on the expensive side, delivered a culinary experience to remember. I indulged in their degustation menu and it was absolutely worth it – a delightful and well-executed offering that I thoroughly enjoyed. Some minor details, such as cracks in the bathroom door, a bit of peeling paint, and mold around the shower, were present but did not detract from my overall experience. This is a historic property, and small imperfections like these felt negligible in the context of everything else the hotel offers. A note for those mentioning the "smell": the thermal water contains sulphur, which is not only natural but also beneficial for the skin, respiratory health, and circulation. Those unfamiliar with this are missing out on its remarkable therapeutic benefits. The room was comfortable, well-furnished, and the bed VERY comfortable, with excellent sheets and a choice of pillows. All in all, my stay was a perfect blend of relaxation, luxury, and wellness. I highly recommend the Gran Hotel Terme Sirmione for anyone seeking a special and restorative experience in a truly unique setting. I will definitely return!
