After my boyfriend's passport was stolen just as we were about to fly back, I booked a room here through Booking.com very last minute. We were tired and upset and just needed a bed for the night. When we arrived, our host Giorgio explained that Booking.com had made a mistake and booked a single room instead of a double. We thought our day had just got worse BUT he had instead booked us a double in a nearby hotel, secured the price, and insisted on walking us there. As we had to spend another two days in Rome waiting for the embassy to open, we needed another room. Giorgio was very accomodating and reserved us a room in the Versailles, letting us leave our luggage in the hotel all day. The room was a single again, but another bed was set up with no hassle, and we were recommended some great places to eat in the area. On top of this, Giorgio also helped us phone the lost and found at three stations (as we did not understand the Italian) and helped us every step of the way. We would recommend this hotel fully for great hospitality and a kind ear when we needed it most.
