Relais del Colle

We arrived at the Relais after many hours of travel that started in New York. It was a beautiful day and we sat on the patio with a 360 degree view of the surrounding hills with charming hilltop towns and snow capped mountains in the distance. Our host, Luciano, greeted us with a glass of the local white wine, Passerina. We were already in heaven and we hadn't yet set foot inside! The Relais is a redesigned Marchegiana farmhouse that exudes peace and relaxation. Our room (Fuoco) was on the second floor with a private terrace. In one direction we could see the old hilltop town of Ripatransone, while in the other direction was Cossignano, in addition to the surrounding farm lands and vineyards. Spectacular! The entire Relais was immaculate and the attention to detail was extraordinary. The staff was also exceptional. Luciano saw to our every need, while Claudia prepared delicious homemade pastries every morning for breakfast. There is also a spa and indoor heated pool where my wife received her all time best massage from Patrizia. We also had the added benefit of meeting some delightful people with whom we plan to stay in touch. The three nights we spent here were too few. I would unconditionally recommend Relais del Colle. You won't be disappointed!
