11 reviewsBooked through Lastminute. com and literally 10 minutes taxi ride from the airport for 10 Euros. Rated as 2* but I would rate as 3*. Extremely clean. Large Living room and bedroom. Kitchen area with 4 gas hobs, kettke, fridge/freezer, storage cupboards and all necesary utensils and pots/pans. Nicoletta very friendly and helpful. Provided a basket full of breakfast croissants, toast, bread, jam, tea, coffee and a litre of milk. Also provided a map. Station just a few minutes walk where you can book online (Italiarail and very easy - we booked in UK so could print off the tickets) for a trip to Florence, and other cities. Only cost about 16 Euros each return to Florence (1 hour 20). And just 10 minute walk to the Leaning Tower and a large supermarket called Pam. Walking to the central station takes 30 minutes. The little train to the airport from the station costs 5 Euros each so if two or more travelling is cheaper/easier to take a taxi from the appartment. Nicolleta very friendly and helpful with enough English to get by. Our flight after the weekend wasn't until the evening but she was OK for us to stay past the 10am leave time unti the afternoon. Extensive grounds with a nice patio outside the appt. Also a raised swimming pool which was a good size though closed from September.
