29 reviewsWe arrived late due to flight delay/ car hire issues. So there was a little bit of confusion. Initially we were given an apartment that wasn't really suitable for a small child due to internal steps. I think there was some confusion in the booking as they were unaware that a young child was staying. The following morning we raised the issue with the lady in the office ( sorry your name escapes me) who after a quick phone call and some rearranging, moved us to a ground floor apartment which was far more suitable. We were perfectly happy with the apartment, the layout was better and more suitable for our two year old daughter to be able to move around fairly freely. The apartment had a good outdoor area with BBQ and pleasant seating area. If we were to suggest one thing, it would probably be slightly more equipment in the kitchen, a microwave & kettle for instance, but by no means would this be a deal breaker. The apartments a located a short walk, approximately 15 minutes from Palau center. Also nearby is a nice quiet beach, easily within walking distance. The main road to Olbia, St Teresa and most other destinations is close by and easy to find. There are two well stocked supermarkets approx 2 KM away, towards Olbia, which is handy as you avoid traffic going there. One of the supermarkets is an Aldi/Lidl type place, well stocked and selling dangerously low priced red wine! We had a problem with our initial hire car and the lady in the office ( i feel bad, as I cant remember her name) really helped us in dealing with the company, as we were unable to provide a landmark as to where the car was actually located for recovery purposes) we were getting nowhere and her help was invaluable in resolving this. Overall we would certainly consider staying here again and found the staff to be friendly, helpful and pleasant. If travelling with very young children, I would double check though, to ensure the apartment you are going to be given, is suitable, as some certainly are not. That aside, I would recommend the location to pretty much anybody
