Alba Dorata Resort

The hotel and its reception were easy to find. They were polite and explained the basics. They didn't mention a free bus and free sun loungers and brollies on the local beach. Carpark is at the top of the hotel and you walk to your accommodation. wi-fi code is on display in reception. The accommodation was a lot bigger than we expected. They could promote this a lot better on their website. It had a dining area, small kitchen with a good size fridge and gas hob. A big bathroom with a nice shower. The bedroom was huge. Massive amount of storage space. Nice size, private balcony. We could get wi-fi on the balcony but not in the room. The rooms are cleaned every day by a fantastic and dedicated cleaning team. There are 2 pools. Both are warm and very large. Plenty of sun loungers and brollies. On the first visit to the restaurant, you will be allocated a table for your entire stay. They will take you round the restaurant and you are told to help yourself to drinks. If you are half board, you are not entitled to free drinks. You will find water on you table and have access to help yourself to wine, beer and soft drinks. You will be charged for anything taken. No prices displayed but we got a list when we asked for it. Good wi-fi inside and around the restaurant. We didn't attend the onsite entertainment. The hotel location is in an area of outstanding beauty. Best if you have a car to explore the beaches and mountains.
