365 reviewsBack in 2016, my wife and I were both 60 and we wanted to take a special holiday and stay on the Amalfi Coast. We booked with an Italian specialist tour operator and the lady suggested that we go to Minori and the Minori Palace Hotel, Minori being good for couples, quite reasonable price wise compared to other places on the Amalfi Coast and a good centre from which to take a boat or bus to explore. We had a wonderful time, so wonderful that we have gone back for lengthy stays at the Minori Palace in 2022, 2023 and have booked again to go this coming August 2024. What more is there to say ? Minori is lovely and (to our delight) is there for locals more than tourists, the locals being very friendly to tourists who respect them, their lovely small town and are not loud and brash. We go back to welcoming and friendly faces every year. The Minori Palace is clean, has good rooms and air conditioning. The breakfast is an excellent buffet with scrambled eggs or bacon included. The Restaurant is good but we tend to eat mostly in the restaurants on the seafront, one or to of which are excellent But do eat at the restaurant in the hotel The Minori Palace is just 5 minutes from the beach and the ferry which will take you to Salerno on the one side, and to Amalfi and beyond, even out to Capri on the other. You must get on the ferries- they are always a highlight of our trip. And the Minori Palace staff are always friendly and efficient. They help you book a trip, get a taxi, print an airline pass etc etc. Do go . We cannot wait for August
