21 reviewsThis place is truly special and certainly a unique experience. As soon as we arrived, Nieves and her husband immediately made us feel welcome and gave us invaluable advice about the local area, restaurants and beaches (even the wind direction!). The building is a beautiful mansion with a quiet pool and gardens which include hammocks and seating built by their carpenter. We stayed in a beautifully furnished, ornate room (of which we had a choice) which was in keeping with the character of the property and part of the 17th century building. The room was clean and homely with daily cleaning service if required. The entire property is peaceful with only a few guests. We enjoyed the delicious homemade breakfast which included local produce (amazing fig marmalade!) and coffee in the garden outside of our room while chatting with Nieves and other guests. As animal lovers, we enjoyed seeing the kittens playing and getting to know the friendly dog. We have never stayed in such a beautiful place and been made to feel so welcome, it really is unforgettable and the ideal base to explore Puglia. Thank you for everything! Tom and Cathryn x
