410 reviewsThe Place is located in a quiet back street close to all the main attractions of Cagliari. It is only a short walk to the citadel, there are many excellent restaurants a few minutes walk away and most guided tours outside the city start from Piazza Yenne, less than 5 minutes away. There is also a supermarket nearby. This is a beautifully refurbished old house in Stampace so the bedrooms are large and have 2 balconies overlooking the quiet streets below. The bathrooms are well set up. On the other hand there is nowhere to set up a full breakfast room (there is a fresh coffee station and comfortable sitting area) so breakfast is taken in a nearby cafe no more than 5 minutes walk away. Enrico, the host, is a very helpful, friendly and accommodating man in every aspect of one’s stay. We stayed for a week and had absolutely no issues with the venue.
